1
00:00:01,320 --> 00:00:04,200
Welcome back pet parent.
I am so excited for today's

2
00:00:04,200 --> 00:00:06,960
episode.
I have another incredible

3
00:00:06,960 --> 00:00:14,240
veterinarian to bring his wealth
of wisdom to you guys today, and

4
00:00:14,360 --> 00:00:17,560
I actually got to meet him a
couple of years ago at a HVMA.

5
00:00:18,000 --> 00:00:27,640
So it is my honor and pleasure
to bring Doctor Bob Ulbricht to

6
00:00:27,640 --> 00:00:29,880
you today.
Thank you so much for being

7
00:00:29,880 --> 00:00:32,240
here, Doctor Bob.
Thank you, Jessica.

8
00:00:32,240 --> 00:00:35,840
It's great to be here.
So I would love, I mean, we're,

9
00:00:35,840 --> 00:00:37,760
we're going to get into it.
We're going to talk about all

10
00:00:37,760 --> 00:00:41,480
the things you have many decades
of veterinary practice behind

11
00:00:41,480 --> 00:00:43,880
you, which is incredible.
So I know you have so much to

12
00:00:43,880 --> 00:00:46,760
talk about.
You use a lot of homeopathy and

13
00:00:46,760 --> 00:00:51,480
I saw that you have some really
amazing success using homeopathy

14
00:00:51,480 --> 00:00:54,440
with cancer patients.
But we're going to get into all

15
00:00:54,440 --> 00:00:56,880
of that.
What I would love to just start

16
00:00:56,880 --> 00:00:59,680
off so people can kind of start
to get to know you a little bit

17
00:00:59,920 --> 00:01:03,800
is to just tell me a little bit
about like your history, why you

18
00:01:03,800 --> 00:01:07,080
became a veterinarian.
And then we'll kind of get into

19
00:01:08,400 --> 00:01:12,360
why you saw alternative
modalities outside of the

20
00:01:12,360 --> 00:01:17,120
allopathic veterinary like
industrial complex.

21
00:01:17,120 --> 00:01:20,000
I don't know the, the veterinary
allopathic veterinary complex.

22
00:01:20,000 --> 00:01:21,960
It's, it's, it's a thing.
It's, it's a thing.

23
00:01:22,080 --> 00:01:26,240
So we'll talk about that too.
Yeah, I mean, I being a vet was

24
00:01:26,240 --> 00:01:29,320
something, you know, since
probably about the 7th grade or,

25
00:01:29,320 --> 00:01:31,080
or something that I wanted to
do.

26
00:01:31,080 --> 00:01:34,920
And I just followed the path and
did the usual things that one

27
00:01:34,920 --> 00:01:39,120
does to get there and then and,
and when I was in school, all

28
00:01:39,120 --> 00:01:42,320
the alternative stuff.
I mean, it wasn't, it wasn't

29
00:01:42,880 --> 00:01:45,400
just poo pooed.
It was utterly ignored.

30
00:01:45,640 --> 00:01:48,400
There was there was no mention
that there was anything other

31
00:01:48,400 --> 00:01:49,920
than this is the way you do
things.

32
00:01:50,480 --> 00:01:52,920
And as far as I knew, that was
the way you do things.

33
00:01:54,000 --> 00:01:58,560
So I, you know, the first
actually, you know, several

34
00:01:58,560 --> 00:02:02,360
years of, of my practice, four
or five years, I, I practiced

35
00:02:02,360 --> 00:02:06,360
conventionally.
I had heard about, you know,

36
00:02:06,440 --> 00:02:07,920
acupuncture when I was in
school.

37
00:02:07,920 --> 00:02:12,800
The, the head of our anaesthesia
department, we heard Newsome

38
00:02:12,800 --> 00:02:15,160
acupuncture.
And if you kind of talk to him,

39
00:02:15,200 --> 00:02:19,400
you know, and you know, just
hush, hush, you know, hey, he

40
00:02:19,400 --> 00:02:20,760
might teach you a little bit of
something.

41
00:02:20,760 --> 00:02:23,600
And there was a couple of my
students or fellow classmates

42
00:02:23,600 --> 00:02:25,960
rather that, you know, that did
that.

43
00:02:25,960 --> 00:02:28,360
And we're all like, oh, yeah, I
might as well stick pins and

44
00:02:28,360 --> 00:02:30,320
little dolls.
You know, it's all voodoo.

45
00:02:30,680 --> 00:02:34,080
And you know, that that was the
milieu that I learned and grew

46
00:02:34,080 --> 00:02:37,680
up in.
And it it took practicing out in

47
00:02:37,680 --> 00:02:41,560
the real world to kind of
release realize that, you know,

48
00:02:41,560 --> 00:02:44,800
conventional medicine is really
great.

49
00:02:44,800 --> 00:02:47,200
If you're hit by a truck and you
need to be anesthetized and have

50
00:02:47,200 --> 00:02:50,040
your legs set and blah, blah,
blah, you know, acute disease,

51
00:02:50,040 --> 00:02:51,880
great.
But when it comes to chronic

52
00:02:51,880 --> 00:02:57,800
disease, it really fails.
Hypothyroidism, you can't cure

53
00:02:57,800 --> 00:02:59,800
it.
You can supply the symptoms with

54
00:02:59,800 --> 00:03:03,400
external thyroid hormone or, you
know, cancer or diabetes or any

55
00:03:03,400 --> 00:03:06,480
of those chronic diseases.
All you can do is you can't

56
00:03:06,480 --> 00:03:09,520
really cure any of those things.
You can just kind of palliate

57
00:03:09,520 --> 00:03:12,200
the symptoms.
And I got sick and tired of

58
00:03:12,200 --> 00:03:13,480
that.
I thought there had to be a

59
00:03:13,480 --> 00:03:16,840
better way.
I remember I was, I was working

60
00:03:16,880 --> 00:03:21,480
at a clinic at one point, one of
my patients who had just

61
00:03:21,480 --> 00:03:25,400
diagnosed it as a cat had feline
leukemia, wasn't doing well.

62
00:03:26,320 --> 00:03:29,640
And basically there was wasn't
really any hope for this cat

63
00:03:29,640 --> 00:03:33,600
with conventional medicine.
And I actually had the

64
00:03:33,600 --> 00:03:40,840
euthanasia solution drawn up in
the syringe when the the pet

65
00:03:40,840 --> 00:03:43,800
owner said to me, isn't there
some kind of, I don't know,

66
00:03:43,800 --> 00:03:45,840
alternative medicine that we
could try?

67
00:03:45,840 --> 00:03:49,560
And I was like, I don't know, as
it happened, my neighbor was a

68
00:03:49,560 --> 00:03:52,080
naturopath.
And I thought, oh, that's nice.

69
00:03:52,080 --> 00:03:54,960
You know, that, you know, she
does some, you know, that's

70
00:03:54,960 --> 00:03:56,520
cute.
It's not real medicine, but you

71
00:03:56,520 --> 00:03:59,520
know, it's nice that she plays
around with, you know, herbs and

72
00:03:59,520 --> 00:04:01,680
things.
And so I, I thought, well, you

73
00:04:01,680 --> 00:04:04,600
know, I could ask my neighbor.
I don't know, I didn't really

74
00:04:04,600 --> 00:04:08,040
expect anything, but OK, let's
give it a try.

75
00:04:08,040 --> 00:04:10,120
Sure, why not?
And I talked to her.

76
00:04:10,120 --> 00:04:12,840
She suggested a few, some immune
support, this and that.

77
00:04:12,840 --> 00:04:17,160
And behold, the cat got better.
I was like, OK, that wasn't

78
00:04:17,160 --> 00:04:20,760
supposed to happen.
And I started looking into it

79
00:04:20,760 --> 00:04:26,120
more and more and started taking
classes like for humans in, in

80
00:04:26,160 --> 00:04:29,120
Chinese medicine and think, you
know, continuing education

81
00:04:29,840 --> 00:04:32,440
classes and stuff and adding a
little of this and that.

82
00:04:32,440 --> 00:04:34,120
And I thought it was breaking
new ground.

83
00:04:34,280 --> 00:04:36,920
And then I discovered there's a
whole organization out there,

84
00:04:36,920 --> 00:04:40,360
the American Holistic Veterinary
Medical Association, and then

85
00:04:40,360 --> 00:04:43,560
other organizations like the
Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy

86
00:04:43,560 --> 00:04:46,760
and, you know, the chiropractic
organizations and acupuncture

87
00:04:46,760 --> 00:04:50,480
organizations, all supplying
consuming education.

88
00:04:51,040 --> 00:04:53,400
I didn't have to forge my own
path.

89
00:04:53,400 --> 00:04:56,360
It's already, you know, there
hasn't been a lot of people

90
00:04:56,360 --> 00:04:58,280
forging that are following that
path.

91
00:04:58,480 --> 00:05:02,600
We're still pretty few and far
between, but yeah, there there

92
00:05:02,600 --> 00:05:05,920
was other resources available.
So that's where I then I started

93
00:05:05,920 --> 00:05:09,880
taking, you know, certification
course in veterinary homeopathy

94
00:05:09,960 --> 00:05:14,560
and I got diplomat status in
that.

95
00:05:14,560 --> 00:05:19,560
And then chiropractic, a
veterinary chiropractic.

96
00:05:19,640 --> 00:05:23,320
It took a lot of other courses
in Western herbs and and Chinese

97
00:05:23,320 --> 00:05:27,560
herbs and nutrition and
nutraceuticals and blah, blah,

98
00:05:27,560 --> 00:05:31,520
blah, and built a practice over
the years that I've never turned

99
00:05:31,520 --> 00:05:34,160
back from.
It's been really remarkable what

100
00:05:34,200 --> 00:05:36,440
stepping out-of-the-box can do
for you.

101
00:05:37,000 --> 00:05:40,960
So first of all, I just want to
say there is never in a million

102
00:05:40,960 --> 00:05:45,640
years will I ever say anything
negative about voodoo or hoodoo

103
00:05:45,640 --> 00:05:47,480
or anything like that because
there is.

104
00:05:47,840 --> 00:05:50,360
Please do not hex me.
You're right.

105
00:05:50,800 --> 00:05:53,640
I believe in it enough that your
hex will work.

106
00:05:53,640 --> 00:06:00,480
Please do not do it.
I, I, I, I don't know, I maybe I

107
00:06:00,480 --> 00:06:03,080
want to believe in it.
I don't know, but I will never

108
00:06:03,080 --> 00:06:07,080
say anything negative about it
And because I certainly fear

109
00:06:07,160 --> 00:06:09,720
that somebody be like, oh
really, let's see what's going

110
00:06:09,720 --> 00:06:13,760
to happen.
But and I.

111
00:06:14,000 --> 00:06:18,000
Don't want when I say, oh, I
thought it was voodoo that was

112
00:06:18,000 --> 00:06:22,680
in my mindset back then, that
anything outside was, you know,

113
00:06:23,480 --> 00:06:28,360
weird elite, you know, magical
thinking, blah, blah, blah.

114
00:06:29,120 --> 00:06:31,480
And yeah, lo and behold, you
know, there's actually a whole

115
00:06:31,480 --> 00:06:35,440
lot of science between or behind
the things that I do.

116
00:06:36,040 --> 00:06:37,920
I mean, people say how can
homeopathy work?

117
00:06:37,920 --> 00:06:39,280
There's nothing there, blah,
blah, blah.

118
00:06:39,280 --> 00:06:43,400
Well, actually there is
interesting things there, but

119
00:06:43,400 --> 00:06:46,480
it's not physical things, it's
vibrational things.

120
00:06:46,480 --> 00:06:48,840
And if you look for it with the
right way, you can see it.

121
00:06:48,840 --> 00:06:55,360
So and, and, and people say, oh,
well, I believe in, you know,

122
00:06:55,360 --> 00:06:58,920
evidence based medicine.
Well, that's really such an

123
00:06:58,920 --> 00:07:02,680
insult because the implication
is that anything that isn't

124
00:07:02,680 --> 00:07:04,640
science has no evidence against
it.

125
00:07:04,880 --> 00:07:08,200
And the fact is people who are
doing research and publishing in

126
00:07:08,200 --> 00:07:11,160
the alternative journals are
doing really probably better

127
00:07:11,160 --> 00:07:13,680
science than the people doing
conventional medicine because

128
00:07:13,680 --> 00:07:16,240
they kind of have, you know,
they feel like there's a higher

129
00:07:16,240 --> 00:07:18,520
bar for them that, you know,
they have to prove themselves

130
00:07:18,520 --> 00:07:20,160
better.
And so the science is actually

131
00:07:20,280 --> 00:07:21,920
better.
It's just ignored.

132
00:07:23,120 --> 00:07:25,960
I mean, if you're willing, I
would actually love to dive into

133
00:07:25,960 --> 00:07:31,360
that a little bit because I keep
saying, and I granted, I have

134
00:07:31,360 --> 00:07:34,720
nowhere near I, I would never
put myself in, in a class of a,

135
00:07:34,760 --> 00:07:38,160
of a veterinarian.
I am like humbled by what you

136
00:07:38,160 --> 00:07:42,200
all do.
And just even even conventional

137
00:07:42,200 --> 00:07:45,600
allopathic veterinarians.
I mean, you go through so much

138
00:07:45,600 --> 00:07:48,400
schooling to learn so many
different species of animals.

139
00:07:48,400 --> 00:07:52,280
Like I am so thankful that there
are so many incredible

140
00:07:52,280 --> 00:07:55,120
veterinarians out there.
It's just like you said, if my

141
00:07:55,120 --> 00:07:58,440
dog is hit by a car, please,
I'm, you know, want some pain

142
00:07:58,440 --> 00:08:00,360
meds if you need to put them
under anesthesia to do some

143
00:08:00,360 --> 00:08:04,480
let's let's get them fixed.
But and I especially looking at

144
00:08:04,480 --> 00:08:08,240
the human side of things because
I think that's where things

145
00:08:08,240 --> 00:08:11,560
happen 1st and then it kind of
trickles into into veterinary

146
00:08:11,560 --> 00:08:14,320
medicine when we look at the
human side of things.

147
00:08:14,360 --> 00:08:17,520
And science has become a
religion.

148
00:08:17,880 --> 00:08:20,760
I don't, this is, this is
craziness to me.

149
00:08:20,760 --> 00:08:24,440
And I do, I mean, I, my
bachelor's is in a science, it's

150
00:08:24,440 --> 00:08:28,480
just not in a medical science.
I have a bachelor's of science.

151
00:08:28,480 --> 00:08:33,600
And so I learned what, you know,
a science experiment should look

152
00:08:33,600 --> 00:08:35,880
like.
And you're kind of when you go

153
00:08:35,880 --> 00:08:39,480
in, you're supposed to be trying
to disprove yourself, whatever

154
00:08:39,480 --> 00:08:42,679
your theory is.
And I don't believe that's the

155
00:08:42,679 --> 00:08:46,240
way most scientific studies are
set up anymore.

156
00:08:46,720 --> 00:08:49,160
I think, you know, a
pharmaceutical company or

157
00:08:49,160 --> 00:08:52,000
whoever that's funding it says
this is what we have.

158
00:08:52,000 --> 00:08:54,480
We need to figure out a made a
way, a way to make it work.

159
00:08:54,960 --> 00:08:57,680
What can you give me?
And then, you know, data is

160
00:08:57,680 --> 00:09:00,920
cherry picked and I don't know,
it's, it's an insane percentage

161
00:09:00,920 --> 00:09:05,080
since like the 1980s of studies
that have been retracted or

162
00:09:05,080 --> 00:09:07,800
corrected because the science
was flawed.

163
00:09:08,120 --> 00:09:14,160
So I would just love, I mean,
go, go get on your soapbox if

164
00:09:14,160 --> 00:09:15,920
you want.
For sure.

165
00:09:16,040 --> 00:09:18,600
Well, yeah, people one another
thing that bugs me is when

166
00:09:18,600 --> 00:09:23,080
people, you know, you talk about
whatever, say the vaccine

167
00:09:23,080 --> 00:09:25,840
questions and they say, oh, no,
I believe in science.

168
00:09:25,840 --> 00:09:29,360
Like, like science is not
something you believe in.

169
00:09:29,360 --> 00:09:33,000
That's called religion.
Science is something you you

170
00:09:33,000 --> 00:09:36,160
look at the facts.
If the facts differ from your

171
00:09:36,960 --> 00:09:38,960
your belief, you change your
belief.

172
00:09:38,960 --> 00:09:42,000
You don't change the facts.
There was an old quote from

173
00:09:42,000 --> 00:09:46,400
Doctor Who, the original Doctor
Who back in the 60s, when Tom

174
00:09:46,400 --> 00:09:50,360
Baker said something like as the
Doctor, he said the very the the

175
00:09:50,360 --> 00:09:53,000
very powerful and the very
stupid of one thing in common.

176
00:09:54,040 --> 00:09:57,080
They don't change their opinions
to fit the facts.

177
00:09:57,080 --> 00:09:59,920
They change the facts to fit
their opinions or something like

178
00:09:59,920 --> 00:10:01,720
that.
I'm probably slightly misquoting

179
00:10:01,720 --> 00:10:03,640
him, but but it's true.
Yeah.

180
00:10:03,640 --> 00:10:06,240
It's, you know, getting back to
like the vaccines, you know,

181
00:10:06,600 --> 00:10:09,960
wow, everyone has to be
vaccinated and COVID.

182
00:10:10,320 --> 00:10:13,000
So.
So have any of these people

183
00:10:13,000 --> 00:10:16,840
actually looked at some of the
research that's come out in peer

184
00:10:16,840 --> 00:10:20,840
reviewed Western medical
scientific journals like The

185
00:10:20,840 --> 00:10:30,840
Lancet, the 20, the October of
20 21 Lancet or the January of

186
00:10:31,080 --> 00:10:34,720
22 European of Journal of
Epidemiology?

187
00:10:34,840 --> 00:10:41,640
I mean, these are well respected
scientific journals, peer

188
00:10:41,640 --> 00:10:47,200
reviewed.
And yet they, the, the articles,

189
00:10:47,320 --> 00:10:51,880
the, the research published in
them show that the COVID vaccine

190
00:10:51,880 --> 00:10:58,880
was not lowering the antigen
load, that was not reducing the

191
00:10:58,880 --> 00:11:00,080
spread.
It was not.

192
00:11:00,080 --> 00:11:04,280
There was no difference between
highly vaccinated countries and,

193
00:11:04,320 --> 00:11:08,040
and poor and, and low vaccinated
countries were highly vaccinated

194
00:11:08,560 --> 00:11:11,680
counties and low vaccinated
counties that it was not

195
00:11:11,680 --> 00:11:14,640
spreading.
And yet people aren't looking at

196
00:11:14,640 --> 00:11:17,840
any of the science and they're
just saying, oh, I believe in

197
00:11:17,840 --> 00:11:19,480
science without looking at the
data.

198
00:11:20,040 --> 00:11:24,480
So that's just one example of,
of course, many rainy roads we

199
00:11:24,480 --> 00:11:27,920
could go down.
Yeah, well, I just, I, I find it

200
00:11:28,360 --> 00:11:32,000
to be so odd that and I, you
know, I see this kind of thing

201
00:11:32,000 --> 00:11:35,760
on social media all the time.
It's like people have no problem

202
00:11:35,880 --> 00:11:38,080
injecting themselves with
something and not asking

203
00:11:38,080 --> 00:11:41,000
questions, eating a Dorito and
not looking at the ingredient

204
00:11:41,000 --> 00:11:46,000
profile, but suggest that they
take oil of oregano when they

205
00:11:46,000 --> 00:11:49,280
have the flu and they're like,
where is the scientific research

206
00:11:49,280 --> 00:11:52,120
on?
And I'm like, what in the world?

207
00:11:53,680 --> 00:11:56,080
I just think that's what that's
the society we live in.

208
00:11:56,080 --> 00:11:59,920
Kind of shows like where where
we are as a society.

209
00:11:59,920 --> 00:12:05,640
It shows how you know, have
become so disconnected from

210
00:12:05,640 --> 00:12:12,240
nature that we think we're so
much more intelligent, more

211
00:12:12,240 --> 00:12:16,360
powerful.
And what you do, what you have

212
00:12:16,360 --> 00:12:21,120
proven in your practice is that
that's really not, in my

213
00:12:21,120 --> 00:12:24,640
opinion, what you've proven is
that that's that's just not the

214
00:12:24,640 --> 00:12:29,800
case.
So what are some of, and I know

215
00:12:29,800 --> 00:12:33,760
you use a lot of homeopathy.
What are some of the modalities

216
00:12:33,760 --> 00:12:37,720
that you have used in your
decades of practice that you're

217
00:12:37,720 --> 00:12:40,440
like, this is pretty incredible
guys.

218
00:12:40,440 --> 00:12:43,120
Like we really need to.
We need to look at this more.

219
00:12:43,480 --> 00:12:46,280
Well, I mean, I mean, really
realistically, the number one

220
00:12:46,280 --> 00:12:50,400
modality, the number one thing
that you can do is your diet.

221
00:12:50,520 --> 00:12:53,520
You always start with that.
I mean, there's just so much

222
00:12:53,640 --> 00:12:57,200
getting off of processed food
and people just, you know, they

223
00:12:57,200 --> 00:12:59,840
ask well, which brand, which
kibble is best or whatever.

224
00:12:59,880 --> 00:13:01,800
None of them.
Some are better than others, but

225
00:13:01,800 --> 00:13:05,480
none of them are good.
And it's just like if you did

226
00:13:05,480 --> 00:13:08,800
nothing but ate canned goods all
the time, how would your health

227
00:13:08,800 --> 00:13:11,280
be as it was opposed to eating
something fresh from the produce

228
00:13:11,280 --> 00:13:13,160
department.
And it's the same thing where

229
00:13:13,160 --> 00:13:15,440
there are dogs and cats.
You got to start with diet.

230
00:13:15,440 --> 00:13:18,200
That's the number one, you know,
nutritional medicine, the number

231
00:13:18,200 --> 00:13:21,200
one thing.
Some dear friends of mine, their

232
00:13:21,200 --> 00:13:23,800
dog had lymphoma, developed
lymphoma.

233
00:13:23,800 --> 00:13:26,240
And we didn't, I mean, we
started them off.

234
00:13:26,240 --> 00:13:29,040
I gave them some immune support
and support, You know, the main

235
00:13:29,040 --> 00:13:30,480
thing we did, we, we switched
the diet.

236
00:13:30,480 --> 00:13:33,520
Number one, get them on a raw
food diet and ancestral diet.

237
00:13:33,520 --> 00:13:35,080
What are wolves and coyotes
eating?

238
00:13:35,400 --> 00:13:37,760
And it's not opening cans and
bags of things and it's not

239
00:13:37,760 --> 00:13:39,800
sitting around the campfire
roasting their rabbits.

240
00:13:39,840 --> 00:13:42,480
They're eating it raw.
So get back to what they're

241
00:13:42,480 --> 00:13:44,680
doing.
They did that, but they

242
00:13:44,840 --> 00:13:48,320
unfortunately really couldn't
afford to keep up with the

243
00:13:48,320 --> 00:13:51,320
immune support and all the all
the other things.

244
00:13:51,320 --> 00:13:53,160
And they kind of fell back on
jest diet.

245
00:13:53,360 --> 00:13:58,400
That dog lived a year and a half
on diet change alone.

246
00:13:59,640 --> 00:14:02,560
I mean, think how well it would
have done if we could have kept

247
00:14:02,560 --> 00:14:03,880
up with some of the other
things.

248
00:14:04,440 --> 00:14:09,080
But I mean, diet alone can do,
can fix so much, so much of our

249
00:14:09,080 --> 00:14:12,760
of our pets and our health
problems are because we're

250
00:14:12,760 --> 00:14:16,560
eating the Doritos and all that
junk we put into our bodies.

251
00:14:16,560 --> 00:14:19,480
So I mean, that's pretty
amazing, especially for lymphoma

252
00:14:19,520 --> 00:14:22,480
because that is known.
For life expectancy.

253
00:14:22,480 --> 00:14:26,520
Pretty quick, yeah.
Yeah, that's pretty amazing.

254
00:14:27,920 --> 00:14:33,520
And I too am on that bandwagon
with we have to have to have to

255
00:14:34,160 --> 00:14:37,160
fix the diet first and foremost,
like you cannot out supplement a

256
00:14:37,160 --> 00:14:40,120
bad diet.
And I think we try.

257
00:14:41,160 --> 00:14:44,360
I think a lot of us, we try.
I know I get a lot of a lot of

258
00:14:44,360 --> 00:14:48,120
clients that are like, they'll
have a list this long of

259
00:14:48,280 --> 00:14:50,240
supplements that they're giving
their dog and they're good

260
00:14:50,240 --> 00:14:51,960
supplements.
Like they've done their research

261
00:14:51,960 --> 00:14:53,680
and they're, they're really
using good supplements, but

262
00:14:53,680 --> 00:14:56,160
they're feeding a kibble.
And I'm like, you know, I hate

263
00:14:56,160 --> 00:14:59,160
to break it to you, but.
It's like building a really good

264
00:14:59,160 --> 00:15:02,040
house with no foundation.
Right, yes.

265
00:15:02,040 --> 00:15:06,080
So, OK, you started as a
conventional veterinarian.

266
00:15:06,680 --> 00:15:09,120
What?
And you told me about the, the

267
00:15:09,120 --> 00:15:12,640
cat with leukemia.
Was there anything else that

268
00:15:12,640 --> 00:15:16,640
maybe kind of shifted you, your
mindset a little bit?

269
00:15:16,880 --> 00:15:19,440
Was there are there any other
stories that you have that you

270
00:15:19,440 --> 00:15:23,760
were like, I really, I really
need to expand my horizons here.

271
00:15:25,080 --> 00:15:29,560
Another anecdote.
I, I mean, I just, I know that

272
00:15:29,560 --> 00:15:32,920
the more I, the more I learned,
the more I tried things, the

273
00:15:32,920 --> 00:15:35,920
more I saw success, the more I
realized that there was a whole

274
00:15:35,920 --> 00:15:39,560
lot more out there than I ever
was presented in vet school.

275
00:15:40,960 --> 00:15:43,400
Another story isn't just like
springing to mind at the moment,

276
00:15:43,400 --> 00:15:45,640
but that's OK.
I'll probably think of something

277
00:15:45,640 --> 00:15:48,040
as we talk.
That's OK, No problem.

278
00:15:49,480 --> 00:15:53,240
So I noticed when I was looking
at like the bio that you gave

279
00:15:53,240 --> 00:15:59,240
me, you pretty quickly it looked
like you you ran from 8:00-ish

280
00:15:59,240 --> 00:16:03,880
years after vet school and then
you went and you, you learned

281
00:16:03,880 --> 00:16:07,440
homeopathy.
So let's start with homeopathy.

282
00:16:07,800 --> 00:16:10,600
Sure.
I have to be honest, like, I

283
00:16:10,600 --> 00:16:13,640
love the idea of homeopathy.
I have tried.

284
00:16:14,200 --> 00:16:18,000
I actually just signed up for
another course with Doctor Will

285
00:16:18,000 --> 00:16:20,120
Falconer.
Yeah.

286
00:16:20,240 --> 00:16:25,960
And so, yeah, I it's like I
understand it, but I don't

287
00:16:25,960 --> 00:16:27,640
understand it, if that makes any
sense.

288
00:16:27,640 --> 00:16:33,360
Like, I know that there are
different, different

289
00:16:33,600 --> 00:16:38,040
methodologies with homeopathy
from talking to to Doctor PJ

290
00:16:38,040 --> 00:16:41,680
Bradfoot.
And I know that I only know

291
00:16:41,680 --> 00:16:44,960
enough to be dangerous because
like, you have to, from what I

292
00:16:44,960 --> 00:16:48,440
understand, at least the way Dr.
Falconer teaches it is you have

293
00:16:48,440 --> 00:16:51,760
to get like in the nitty gritty
of every symptom.

294
00:16:51,960 --> 00:16:54,880
And when those symptoms change,
you got to do it all over again.

295
00:16:55,160 --> 00:16:59,000
And so to me, I'm like, I would
be pulling my hair out, but I

296
00:16:59,000 --> 00:17:03,000
would love for you, you to give
me like I'm in fifth grade,

297
00:17:03,040 --> 00:17:08,440
explain homeopathy to me.
So homeopathy, it works with the

298
00:17:08,440 --> 00:17:10,720
symptoms.
Conventional medicine works

299
00:17:10,720 --> 00:17:13,040
against the symptoms.
OK, it's a very anti.

300
00:17:13,040 --> 00:17:16,240
If you got a fever, you take an
anti pyretic.

301
00:17:16,240 --> 00:17:20,720
If you're vomiting, you take a
anti nausea medicine.

302
00:17:20,720 --> 00:17:24,680
If you've got a whatever it is
anti diarrhea, anti this, anti

303
00:17:24,680 --> 00:17:27,880
that.
Whereas homeopathy, the symptom

304
00:17:27,920 --> 00:17:31,040
symptoms are like the how the,
how the, if the body deals with

305
00:17:31,040 --> 00:17:33,760
disease, right?
So, and they're like the oil

306
00:17:33,760 --> 00:17:35,960
light on your car.
If the oil light comes on, you

307
00:17:35,960 --> 00:17:40,440
can either add oil to the engine
or cut the wires leading to the

308
00:17:40,440 --> 00:17:43,120
light.
Either way, the light goes off

309
00:17:43,120 --> 00:17:45,960
and things like steroids and all
these, you know, it's

310
00:17:45,960 --> 00:17:48,960
suppressing the symptoms kind
of, you know, medications are

311
00:17:48,960 --> 00:17:51,960
just cutting the wires.
You're not doing anything for

312
00:17:51,960 --> 00:17:55,520
the body.
So the, the, the symptoms, like

313
00:17:55,520 --> 00:17:58,760
I say, they're how the body
tries to, you know, if you've

314
00:17:58,760 --> 00:18:02,080
got an infection, it raises the
temperature to cook the

315
00:18:02,080 --> 00:18:04,360
infection out of you.
If you take something that

316
00:18:04,360 --> 00:18:09,200
lowers your fever, your ability
to fight the infection is

317
00:18:09,200 --> 00:18:11,400
actually inhibited.
You might feel better in the

318
00:18:11,400 --> 00:18:14,960
moment, but it takes you longer
to, to get over it.

319
00:18:14,960 --> 00:18:17,520
Or maybe you never get over it,
depending on what, what you're

320
00:18:17,520 --> 00:18:18,720
doing, what you're talking
about.

321
00:18:18,760 --> 00:18:24,360
So what homeopathy does, if
you've got a fever, you give say

322
00:18:24,360 --> 00:18:27,920
something like belladonna, that
if you were to eat it, eat a

323
00:18:31,840 --> 00:18:36,200
belladonna, you know, in its
pure form, aren't plant form, it

324
00:18:36,200 --> 00:18:39,680
would actually make your your
fever rise, your temperature

325
00:18:39,680 --> 00:18:42,840
rise a bit.
So it actually enhances your

326
00:18:42,840 --> 00:18:47,640
symptoms temporarily and
therefore thereby enhances your

327
00:18:47,880 --> 00:18:51,640
body's ability to fight whatever
it's trying to cure.

328
00:18:51,720 --> 00:18:55,840
But then those remedies don't
continue to because they're

329
00:18:55,840 --> 00:18:59,440
diluted and potentized.
They have a brief effect they

330
00:18:59,440 --> 00:19:02,640
don't have.
Like belladonna is poisonous

331
00:19:02,640 --> 00:19:06,280
until you turn it into a
homeopathic remedy and then it

332
00:19:06,360 --> 00:19:08,840
you know can cure things that
have a similar symptom.

333
00:19:08,840 --> 00:19:13,560
Picture they say that large
doses of anything kill, small

334
00:19:13,560 --> 00:19:17,880
doses palliate and micro doses
cure.

335
00:19:18,400 --> 00:19:22,480
So homeopathy is the micro doses
that give the body a little

336
00:19:22,480 --> 00:19:26,080
nudge in that direction, kind of
waking it up to say, oh, this is

337
00:19:26,080 --> 00:19:28,400
what's going on.
This is, you know, enhance the

338
00:19:28,400 --> 00:19:32,320
the the body's innate ability to
heal and then you sometimes get

339
00:19:32,320 --> 00:19:35,400
a little aggravation from that,
but then you get true healing

340
00:19:35,400 --> 00:19:38,440
afterwards.
How's that for a quick and

341
00:19:38,440 --> 00:19:39,480
dirty?
Experiment.

342
00:19:39,960 --> 00:19:42,400
Yeah.
Well, and what I understand of

343
00:19:42,400 --> 00:19:45,440
homeopathy is that the
originator.

344
00:19:46,400 --> 00:19:48,880
Yeah, Doctor Hahnemann.
I don't know if it was him or

345
00:19:48,880 --> 00:19:50,880
him and a bunch of other
doctors.

346
00:19:51,560 --> 00:19:56,480
They actually took these
remedies to test them out to see

347
00:19:56,480 --> 00:20:01,040
what they would be good for.
I cannot imagine a doctor today

348
00:20:01,240 --> 00:20:03,080
creating a pharmaceutical and
doing that.

349
00:20:03,720 --> 00:20:06,760
Right, right.
So, yeah, the the state of

350
00:20:06,760 --> 00:20:12,640
medicine 200 years ago when
Doctor Hahnemann was, was

351
00:20:12,960 --> 00:20:15,440
formulating his ideas about
homeopathy.

352
00:20:15,440 --> 00:20:21,240
I mean, there was, there was
these things that, yeah, the

353
00:20:21,240 --> 00:20:25,160
doctors of the day, well, when
you have syphilis, you give them

354
00:20:25,160 --> 00:20:28,920
mercury or whatever.
And he was like, why?

355
00:20:28,920 --> 00:20:33,960
Where's the peer reviewed study?
Not that they really had those

356
00:20:33,960 --> 00:20:35,800
and they, they just didn't have
those that kind of thing in

357
00:20:35,800 --> 00:20:38,320
those days, right?
And so it was all kind of handed

358
00:20:38,320 --> 00:20:41,920
down, called Doctor Smith said
it worked and Doctor Smith got

359
00:20:41,920 --> 00:20:44,480
it from Doctor Jones.
And nobody really knows where

360
00:20:44,480 --> 00:20:47,720
some of these things came from.
So what Doctor Hahnemann said

361
00:20:47,720 --> 00:20:50,880
was, well, let's find out what
these things actually do when

362
00:20:50,880 --> 00:20:54,600
you take Mercury or, or whatever
it is.

363
00:20:54,960 --> 00:20:58,120
But of course, Mercury's really
kind of toxic or most of these

364
00:20:58,120 --> 00:21:00,480
things that they were giving
were, were really toxic.

365
00:21:00,480 --> 00:21:04,040
So he wanted to, you know, want
to poison himself.

366
00:21:04,840 --> 00:21:10,480
So he took Peruvian bark that
was supposed to, it was supposed

367
00:21:10,480 --> 00:21:15,000
to be good for I think malaria
and he made it into a solution

368
00:21:15,000 --> 00:21:17,320
whatever and then diluted it one
to 10.

369
00:21:17,320 --> 00:21:19,960
And he want he was a very, very
meticulous man.

370
00:21:19,960 --> 00:21:23,440
And so he he would make sure it
was really stirred up really

371
00:21:23,440 --> 00:21:25,240
well.
So he would succus it like 100

372
00:21:25,240 --> 00:21:28,320
times and just just, you know,
kind of stumbled on this.

373
00:21:28,320 --> 00:21:30,240
He, he was just his
meticulousness.

374
00:21:30,440 --> 00:21:33,120
There wasn't any thinking about,
oh, there's something about

375
00:21:33,120 --> 00:21:37,400
secussion that brings out the
healing properties of, of, of

376
00:21:37,400 --> 00:21:39,400
these remedies.
He was just trying to stir

377
00:21:39,400 --> 00:21:41,440
things up to dilute the, the
remedies.

378
00:21:41,440 --> 00:21:43,280
And then he, you know, that was
still too toxic.

379
00:21:43,280 --> 00:21:45,920
So he took what was left and he
very, very meticulous.

380
00:21:45,920 --> 00:21:47,360
He'll just do it at 1:00 to
10:00.

381
00:21:47,360 --> 00:21:49,160
He was always, you know, very
precise and everything.

382
00:21:49,400 --> 00:21:52,440
He diluted that one to 10 and
secused it and he got it down to

383
00:21:52,440 --> 00:21:56,040
the point where it was not toxic
anymore.

384
00:21:56,040 --> 00:21:59,280
And then he took this substance
and he found that he got sort of

385
00:21:59,280 --> 00:22:02,240
this relapsing fever that, you
know, would kind of come and go

386
00:22:02,240 --> 00:22:04,360
just sort of like the way
malaria works.

387
00:22:04,360 --> 00:22:07,040
And you think, well, maybe
there's a connection there.

388
00:22:07,280 --> 00:22:10,360
And that's what got him sort of
started in this whole idea of

389
00:22:10,360 --> 00:22:16,240
these substances that produce
these symptoms can cure ailments

390
00:22:16,240 --> 00:22:22,280
that produce similar symptoms.
And from there he that he tested

391
00:22:22,280 --> 00:22:26,000
hundreds of remedies on himself
and on volunteers.

392
00:22:26,000 --> 00:22:27,920
And then, you know, eventually
getting, you know, groups of

393
00:22:27,920 --> 00:22:31,560
volunteers that would take these
things and write down everything

394
00:22:31,560 --> 00:22:33,520
that their, their thoughts,
their feelings, their

395
00:22:33,520 --> 00:22:36,320
sensations, how you know, their
dreams, their, you know,

396
00:22:36,320 --> 00:22:38,600
whatever all the whole totality
of everything.

397
00:22:38,720 --> 00:22:41,760
And then he looked for common
denominators that was repeatable

398
00:22:41,760 --> 00:22:45,680
throughout at least the majority
of the of the testers.

399
00:22:45,920 --> 00:22:48,200
They called them provers.
It wasn't like proof isn't a

400
00:22:48,200 --> 00:22:50,840
mathematical proof, but proving
what you know, what, what does

401
00:22:50,840 --> 00:22:53,160
the remedy do?
And and then he wrote, you know,

402
00:22:53,160 --> 00:22:56,320
all this, all these books, you
know, all the symptoms that this

403
00:22:56,320 --> 00:22:58,920
remedy or that remedy would do.
And what you're talking about

404
00:22:58,920 --> 00:23:03,160
from what what Doctor Falconer
was telling you, That's how you

405
00:23:04,040 --> 00:23:07,640
for, for especially for like
deep chronic disease, you got to

406
00:23:07,640 --> 00:23:11,320
look at that whole constellation
of pictures and pick a remedy

407
00:23:11,600 --> 00:23:14,880
that matches as closely as you
can so that it will resonate as

408
00:23:14,880 --> 00:23:16,960
closely to the individual as you
can.

409
00:23:16,960 --> 00:23:18,840
So it will have the deepest
acting effect.

410
00:23:19,640 --> 00:23:22,920
Now that's all constitutional
prescribing.

411
00:23:22,920 --> 00:23:26,400
That's that's for chronic
disease, for really deep

412
00:23:26,400 --> 00:23:30,360
diseases, There's a lot you can
do with acute diseases.

413
00:23:30,360 --> 00:23:33,480
You don't have to delve that
deeply into it.

414
00:23:33,520 --> 00:23:38,480
Probably the most commonly known
homeopathic remedy is arnica.

415
00:23:39,840 --> 00:23:42,480
It's the, of course, it's the
best remedy for pirates.

416
00:23:42,480 --> 00:23:48,960
Arnica.
So arnica is good for trauma.

417
00:23:49,840 --> 00:23:53,640
If you take the arnica plant,
it's a beautiful yellow flower.

418
00:23:53,640 --> 00:23:56,840
But if you were to grind it up
or eat it or whatever, it would

419
00:23:56,840 --> 00:23:59,240
have this kind of a toxic effect
where you're, you're, you'd feel

420
00:23:59,240 --> 00:24:04,880
kind of sore and bruised.
And that's, you know, that's why

421
00:24:04,880 --> 00:24:08,160
it helps with, with bruising
and, you know, sprains and

422
00:24:08,160 --> 00:24:09,840
strains and, and things like
that.

423
00:24:11,040 --> 00:24:13,120
And people with, you know,
arnica cream on their sore

424
00:24:13,120 --> 00:24:15,800
shoulder or take the arnica
pellets when they, you know,

425
00:24:15,800 --> 00:24:19,960
have a, you know, a sore back or
whatever it is.

426
00:24:19,960 --> 00:24:26,280
So arnica, you don't nearly need
to know all the, the, all the

427
00:24:26,280 --> 00:24:29,760
details about arnica.
It's a pretty acute, not very

428
00:24:29,760 --> 00:24:34,640
deep acting remedy, but it's so
useful for so many acute

429
00:24:34,640 --> 00:24:38,880
diseases, trauma type things.
Well, Donna, like I was saying

430
00:24:38,880 --> 00:24:42,880
for fevers that come on quickly
and and your face is flushed and

431
00:24:43,640 --> 00:24:47,360
pupils dilated.
If you have that, you know,

432
00:24:47,360 --> 00:24:49,840
there's a lot of a lot of
different diseases, a lot of

433
00:24:49,840 --> 00:24:52,640
different viruses that will
cause that kind of a thing with

434
00:24:52,640 --> 00:24:54,480
a fever and flushed face and all
that.

435
00:24:54,800 --> 00:24:58,760
So Belladon is often very good
acute remedy for a lot of of

436
00:24:58,760 --> 00:25:01,880
these types of diseases.
If there's probably, I don't

437
00:25:01,920 --> 00:25:07,480
know, 20 or 30 remedies, cute
remedies that if you knew those

438
00:25:07,480 --> 00:25:10,720
and the kind of the, the basic
things that they are called for,

439
00:25:11,480 --> 00:25:16,080
you could treat quite a few
things with homeopathy, maybe

440
00:25:16,120 --> 00:25:19,800
not curing cancer or getting,
you know, deep into, you know,

441
00:25:20,000 --> 00:25:27,560
some of the, you know, really
chronic diseases, deep acting or

442
00:25:27,600 --> 00:25:30,400
you know, long term life term,
lifelong things.

443
00:25:30,400 --> 00:25:33,320
But there's a lot that you can
do with acute prescribing.

444
00:25:34,080 --> 00:25:36,920
It's a great way to start.
And once you see how well the

445
00:25:36,920 --> 00:25:41,560
acute stuff works, sure dive
into some of the, you know, the

446
00:25:41,560 --> 00:25:45,760
deeper stuff, learning more
about some of the the antisoric

447
00:25:45,760 --> 00:25:49,760
remedies and the anti miasmatic
remedies and all that that that

448
00:25:49,800 --> 00:25:54,200
you can delve into much deeper.
So and I've heard it described

449
00:25:54,200 --> 00:25:58,000
as like energetic because of how
diluted it it is.

450
00:25:58,000 --> 00:26:01,040
And I think that's what turns a
lot of people off to it like

451
00:26:01,040 --> 00:26:04,040
because people don't again,
we're back to that word, believe

452
00:26:04,480 --> 00:26:06,040
in it.
What do you do?

453
00:26:06,120 --> 00:26:09,120
I don't have you come across
patients like or, you know, pet

454
00:26:09,120 --> 00:26:10,960
parents like that or.
Sure.

455
00:26:11,080 --> 00:26:16,840
I, I had one that was that said
to me, yeah, I brought up

456
00:26:16,840 --> 00:26:17,560
homeopathy.
Yeah.

457
00:26:17,560 --> 00:26:21,280
What's, what's the atomic number
of that, you know, or something,

458
00:26:21,280 --> 00:26:25,400
you know, is it was like, well,
I don't know what's the atomic

459
00:26:25,400 --> 00:26:28,360
number of gravity?
There's no atomic number for

460
00:26:28,360 --> 00:26:31,120
gravity, but you believe that
gravity exists.

461
00:26:31,120 --> 00:26:33,920
What's the atomic number for?
You know, there's so much in

462
00:26:33,920 --> 00:26:36,360
this world.
Photons don't have an atomic

463
00:26:36,360 --> 00:26:40,320
number, but we use laser light
to, to, to treat diseases.

464
00:26:40,320 --> 00:26:42,280
One of the one of the many
things that I do is a

465
00:26:42,320 --> 00:26:46,040
therapeutic laser treatments
that pulse infrared laser light

466
00:26:46,080 --> 00:26:49,000
at different frequencies that
will stimulate nitric acid,

467
00:26:49,720 --> 00:26:54,120
nitric oxide levels in the cells
and ATP production and blah blah

468
00:26:54,120 --> 00:26:56,760
blah.
And it's all scientifically

469
00:26:56,760 --> 00:26:58,880
proven.
It's actually FDA approved.

470
00:26:58,880 --> 00:27:02,280
But people say God, what lays
light there was, you know,

471
00:27:02,280 --> 00:27:03,840
something.
Anyway, I digress.

472
00:27:04,600 --> 00:27:07,040
Just because something doesn't
have an atomic number doesn't

473
00:27:07,040 --> 00:27:10,440
mean it isn't real.
And even Doctor Hahnemann knew,

474
00:27:10,440 --> 00:27:13,000
I mean, they didn't know about
Avogadro's number and you know,

475
00:27:13,000 --> 00:27:16,720
atoms and you know, whatever
back in those days.

476
00:27:18,400 --> 00:27:21,600
But he still kind of knew that,
boy, these things, if you dilute

477
00:27:21,600 --> 00:27:26,520
something one to 10 or 1 to 112
times, there's really, there's

478
00:27:26,520 --> 00:27:28,800
nothing left of the original
substance.

479
00:27:28,800 --> 00:27:32,640
And yet he found that the more
he experimented with this and

480
00:27:32,640 --> 00:27:38,040
the higher the potencies, the
more repetitions of the dilution

481
00:27:38,040 --> 00:27:41,560
and secussion, dilution and
secussion, he found that some of

482
00:27:41,560 --> 00:27:45,080
these remedies, some of these
things became more and more

483
00:27:45,080 --> 00:27:50,440
powerful.
Their healing, healing improved.

484
00:27:50,480 --> 00:27:54,120
And yet it was more dilute.
And he actually, he, he did some

485
00:27:54,120 --> 00:27:56,960
other experiments to kind of
look at what's going on with

486
00:27:56,960 --> 00:28:00,040
that.
He tried, maybe it's, is it, is

487
00:28:00,040 --> 00:28:03,640
it the dilution?
So he tried not secussing but

488
00:28:03,640 --> 00:28:07,560
very carefully to lightly
stirring and diluting and

489
00:28:07,560 --> 00:28:10,200
stirring and it didn't get that
effect.

490
00:28:10,240 --> 00:28:13,720
And then he took substances and
you know, made a one like very

491
00:28:13,720 --> 00:28:17,320
dilute whatever diluted it and
sekus, sekus, sekus, sekus,

492
00:28:17,400 --> 00:28:20,240
sekus, it didn't have that
effect either.

493
00:28:20,440 --> 00:28:23,400
It was the alternating dilution
and sekussion that somehow

494
00:28:23,400 --> 00:28:26,600
brought, brought forth the
healing properties of these

495
00:28:26,600 --> 00:28:30,360
substances.
So what was the original

496
00:28:30,360 --> 00:28:32,000
question?
I don't even know.

497
00:28:32,240 --> 00:28:34,680
I don't even know.
I was just lost in the story,

498
00:28:34,680 --> 00:28:38,160
but that that it does make me
think of, you know.

499
00:28:38,160 --> 00:28:41,440
Oh yes, of bioenergetics.
OK.

500
00:28:42,120 --> 00:28:43,680
Not to interrupt you, but no.
No, no, you're good.

501
00:28:44,760 --> 00:28:48,040
So yes, even Doctor Hahnemann
knew that there, that there had

502
00:28:48,040 --> 00:28:51,600
to be something more than the
substance itself, that there was

503
00:28:51,600 --> 00:28:56,040
something brought into the
solution from the substance of

504
00:28:56,040 --> 00:28:59,320
bioenergetic pattern, a
fingerprint, if you will, of the

505
00:28:59,320 --> 00:29:03,400
substance without the toxic
effects of this substance.

506
00:29:03,800 --> 00:29:06,440
But there was still something
vibrational there.

507
00:29:07,400 --> 00:29:14,240
And there's, there's been some,
some studies, I think MRI

508
00:29:15,560 --> 00:29:18,680
magnetic resonance imaging that
you know, that shows, OK, there

509
00:29:18,680 --> 00:29:23,080
is something, there is something
there in a, in these two

510
00:29:23,080 --> 00:29:28,040
substances that are chemically
identical. 1 is just the sugar

511
00:29:28,360 --> 00:29:31,360
pills for the milk sugar that
the substances are generally put

512
00:29:31,360 --> 00:29:35,760
on and one is blank pellets and
one is pellets with a remedy.

513
00:29:35,840 --> 00:29:38,360
And sure enough they can tell
that there's a difference there.

514
00:29:38,360 --> 00:29:42,840
So there is something that goes
on, it's just not chemical.

515
00:29:43,520 --> 00:29:45,840
But there's a lot of things that
go on in our world that aren't

516
00:29:45,840 --> 00:29:48,600
chemical.
So and it, and it, it does make

517
00:29:48,600 --> 00:29:52,040
me think a little bit because I
know it's easy for us to say

518
00:29:52,040 --> 00:29:55,200
like, oh, humans ruin everything
and we ruin a lot.

519
00:29:55,360 --> 00:29:56,920
Don't get me wrong, we ruin a
lot.

520
00:29:57,160 --> 00:30:01,520
But, you know, when I think of
like, like, like a zoo farm and

521
00:30:01,520 --> 00:30:05,240
cognosie or, you know, where
animals can self select they're,

522
00:30:05,280 --> 00:30:08,320
they're probably not going to
select an arnica plant or a

523
00:30:08,320 --> 00:30:12,680
belladonna plant or something
that is known to be toxic or is

524
00:30:12,680 --> 00:30:14,760
going to like, upset the stomach
or like.

525
00:30:14,800 --> 00:30:20,240
But but that human intervention
was actually a good thing for

526
00:30:20,240 --> 00:30:20,640
once.
Yeah.

527
00:30:20,840 --> 00:30:25,640
I mean, animals do a deer will
eat Mullen in the in the fall,

528
00:30:25,640 --> 00:30:27,200
right?
And it's good for the

529
00:30:27,200 --> 00:30:29,880
respiratory system and you know,
helps, you know, for, you know,

530
00:30:29,880 --> 00:30:31,560
colds and flus and things like
that.

531
00:30:31,800 --> 00:30:35,040
And they will purposely seek
that out during cold and flu

532
00:30:35,040 --> 00:30:37,040
season, cold and flu season, let
me just say.

533
00:30:37,400 --> 00:30:41,120
So every year we have a candy
holiday.

534
00:30:41,400 --> 00:30:45,400
I was going to say yeah.
Followed by a pie holiday,

535
00:30:45,640 --> 00:30:48,960
followed by a cookie holiday,
followed by an alcohol holiday.

536
00:30:49,320 --> 00:30:51,200
And we call it flu season,
right?

537
00:30:52,680 --> 00:30:56,200
Anyway, animals will seek out
medicinal plants.

538
00:30:56,200 --> 00:30:57,920
They don't dilute and succustom.
Whoops.

539
00:30:57,920 --> 00:31:01,880
And hit my computer here.
They don't dilute and succustom

540
00:31:01,880 --> 00:31:04,520
and turn them into homeopathic
remedies, but they certainly

541
00:31:04,960 --> 00:31:11,600
seek out herbal remedies.
Yeah, the dilution and secussion

542
00:31:11,600 --> 00:31:18,000
was kind of, you know, stumbled
upon, but, you know, a

543
00:31:18,400 --> 00:31:23,320
remarkable way to turn some of
these medicinal plants, which

544
00:31:23,320 --> 00:31:27,280
some of them you had to be
careful with, like digitalis

545
00:31:27,280 --> 00:31:30,800
from the foxglove plant.
It can kill you.

546
00:31:31,360 --> 00:31:35,880
It can also save you if you've
got heart disease, there's not a

547
00:31:35,880 --> 00:31:40,080
lot of difference between the
curing dose and the and the

548
00:31:40,080 --> 00:31:42,120
toxic dose.
You know, there is some

549
00:31:42,120 --> 00:31:44,280
difference and if you're very
careful with the prescribing.

550
00:31:44,280 --> 00:31:46,560
But that was one of the reasons
was one of the things that

551
00:31:46,560 --> 00:31:50,080
pharmaceutical companies kind of
came about was because people

552
00:31:50,080 --> 00:31:52,480
would take, you know, different,
different foxglove plants would

553
00:31:52,480 --> 00:31:57,200
have different, you know, one
that grew in the spring versus

554
00:31:57,200 --> 00:31:59,720
the fall or on the hill versus
in the valley or whatever.

555
00:31:59,720 --> 00:32:03,440
They might have different
amounts of digit digit in their

556
00:32:03,440 --> 00:32:06,160
in their leaves.
And so when people made this

557
00:32:06,160 --> 00:32:10,760
remedy for heart disease plant,
you know, herbal remedy, yeah,

558
00:32:10,760 --> 00:32:15,320
some people died because it was
too, too rich and there wasn't

559
00:32:15,320 --> 00:32:18,600
really good ways of of kind of
measuring, you know, how much is

560
00:32:18,600 --> 00:32:22,280
actually in here.
So pharmacies came about to

561
00:32:22,320 --> 00:32:27,320
standardize the dosing so that
when we take digoxin, we know

562
00:32:27,320 --> 00:32:29,520
we're taking the right amount
and not saying nothing, you

563
00:32:29,520 --> 00:32:33,280
know, too toxic.
But nature often has a way of

564
00:32:33,280 --> 00:32:37,240
balancing things.
Dandelion tincture is a really

565
00:32:37,240 --> 00:32:39,920
good diuretic, probably better
than lasix.

566
00:32:40,120 --> 00:32:44,320
Lasix is a good diuretic, but
what?

567
00:32:45,160 --> 00:32:48,960
But it also has a tendency to
deplete potassium from the body.

568
00:32:49,720 --> 00:32:51,840
Dandelion is naturally high in
potassium.

569
00:32:51,960 --> 00:32:53,960
So it comes with this natural
balance.

570
00:32:53,960 --> 00:32:57,560
And then what modern medicine
does is, oh, where's the, what's

571
00:32:57,560 --> 00:33:02,320
the, the active ingredient?
Let's, let's get rid of all the

572
00:33:02,320 --> 00:33:04,160
other stuff.
This is the one active

573
00:33:04,160 --> 00:33:05,920
ingredient.
And it doesn't work that way.

574
00:33:06,120 --> 00:33:10,600
Like CBD, for example, now that
it's become generally legal.

575
00:33:10,600 --> 00:33:14,880
The science has been just this
avalanche of research coming out

576
00:33:14,960 --> 00:33:17,360
about all the different things,
the whole endocannabinoid system

577
00:33:17,360 --> 00:33:21,280
that we had no idea existed even
like when I was in school.

578
00:33:21,320 --> 00:33:25,000
But what science does is that,
oh, there's a plant that has,

579
00:33:25,400 --> 00:33:28,040
has these medical properties.
What's the active ingredient?

580
00:33:28,240 --> 00:33:32,200
Oh, it must be CBD.
It let's get rid of the THC and

581
00:33:32,200 --> 00:33:34,520
the blah, blah, blah, blah.
And let's just, it's CBD.

582
00:33:34,520 --> 00:33:38,680
And yes CBD is good, but it's
better when you have the entire

583
00:33:38,680 --> 00:33:43,000
complex of the 300 or so
different cannabinoids and the

584
00:33:43,280 --> 00:33:46,840
all the other terpenes and blah
blah blah all those things X

585
00:33:46,840 --> 00:33:52,320
synergistically and and far
modern pharmacology.

586
00:33:52,320 --> 00:33:55,240
Taking this one thing out of a
plant and calling it the

587
00:33:55,640 --> 00:33:59,880
curative substance is just very
short sighted.

588
00:33:59,960 --> 00:34:01,800
It is very short sighted, I
agree.

589
00:34:01,800 --> 00:34:05,440
I've been talking a lot about
that lately with colleagues and

590
00:34:05,440 --> 00:34:09,199
trying to get more content out
around that here very shortly.

591
00:34:09,239 --> 00:34:14,159
So it, it, it is, it's very, in
my opinion, too short, short

592
00:34:14,159 --> 00:34:16,239
sighted of us.
One of the other questions that

593
00:34:16,239 --> 00:34:18,840
I wanted to ask you about
homeopathy, I hear this a lot,

594
00:34:18,840 --> 00:34:23,080
is that you, you can't hurt
anything with it.

595
00:34:23,120 --> 00:34:26,679
Is that true?
Mostly it's let's let's say it's

596
00:34:26,679 --> 00:34:31,719
difficult to do any harm because
the, you know, it's diluted so

597
00:34:31,719 --> 00:34:34,639
that the toxic properties are
diminished.

598
00:34:34,760 --> 00:34:38,400
You can complicate things with
homeopathy if you don't know

599
00:34:38,400 --> 00:34:43,560
what you're doing, but it's hard
to like, you know, kill someone

600
00:34:43,560 --> 00:34:46,159
with it or something.
You know, if you, I'm going to

601
00:34:46,280 --> 00:34:49,440
stick some arsenicum in their
drinking water and they're going

602
00:34:49,440 --> 00:34:52,320
to get this arsenic.
Well, no, actually, it might

603
00:34:52,320 --> 00:34:54,600
help cleanse arsenic from their
bodies.

604
00:34:54,679 --> 00:34:56,120
You can't.
It would be hard.

605
00:34:56,120 --> 00:35:00,240
But if you're, yeah, if you're
trying to cure and you're kind

606
00:35:00,240 --> 00:35:02,240
of stumbling, you're trying this
remedy in that rainbow,

607
00:35:02,240 --> 00:35:06,200
sometimes this remedy kind of
disrupts the case and

608
00:35:09,880 --> 00:35:12,000
complicates things.
And then it makes it harder for

609
00:35:12,000 --> 00:35:15,840
the more the actual remedy to,
you know, the the better remedy

610
00:35:15,840 --> 00:35:18,040
to do its job.
I.

611
00:35:18,880 --> 00:35:22,040
Don't know the best I can kind
of come up with it.

612
00:35:22,600 --> 00:35:25,560
You can do some harm with it,
but but not a lot of harm.

613
00:35:26,080 --> 00:35:28,880
OK, gotcha.
You mentioned also that you've

614
00:35:28,880 --> 00:35:32,640
had a lot of success using
homeopathy with different cancer

615
00:35:32,640 --> 00:35:37,560
patients and I have not heard a
whole lot about that specific

616
00:35:37,560 --> 00:35:38,880
topic.
So I'd love to hear.

617
00:35:39,480 --> 00:35:42,680
Sure.
So I actually do a multi pronged

618
00:35:42,680 --> 00:35:46,720
approach for cancer.
I don't use just homeopathy.

619
00:35:46,880 --> 00:35:49,880
If you can get the right
constitutional remedy for that

620
00:35:49,880 --> 00:35:52,920
individual, I mean, if you get
the right remedy, you can cure a

621
00:35:52,920 --> 00:35:54,320
rainy day.
It's remarkable.

622
00:35:54,320 --> 00:35:57,320
It can do, but sometimes there
are layers and you got to hit

623
00:35:57,320 --> 00:36:01,440
the right remedy on the nail on
the head every layer down and it

624
00:36:01,440 --> 00:36:05,120
can be tricky.
It can be done, but it can be

625
00:36:05,120 --> 00:36:08,160
tricky.
So I do I do things that are a

626
00:36:08,160 --> 00:36:11,920
little bit different for cancer.
Well, first of all, I talked

627
00:36:11,920 --> 00:36:15,000
about earlier, always start with
the diet, get them off a

628
00:36:15,000 --> 00:36:17,560
processed food.
And there's certain veggies that

629
00:36:17,560 --> 00:36:19,440
are particularly good for
helping the body to fight

630
00:36:19,440 --> 00:36:21,120
cancer.
The cruciferous vegetables like

631
00:36:21,120 --> 00:36:24,480
broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels
sprouts, cabbage, they those

632
00:36:24,480 --> 00:36:26,800
contain indals and quercetin and
things that help the body to

633
00:36:26,800 --> 00:36:29,280
fight cancer.
So, you know, want to increase

634
00:36:29,280 --> 00:36:31,600
those veggies.
And also the veggies, anything

635
00:36:31,600 --> 00:36:34,280
with that red, yellow, orange
color that shows that it's high

636
00:36:34,280 --> 00:36:38,720
in beta carotene, other
carotenoids, Yeah, carrots and

637
00:36:38,720 --> 00:36:43,320
squashes and sweet potatoes and
red bell Peppers, things like

638
00:36:43,320 --> 00:36:46,720
that.
So you want a diet in an

639
00:36:46,720 --> 00:36:51,680
unprocessed raw meat and veggie
diet with particularly

640
00:36:51,680 --> 00:36:55,760
emphasizing cruciferous and red,
yellow type of vegetables.

641
00:36:55,760 --> 00:36:59,360
So we always start with that and
then we get them off of

642
00:36:59,360 --> 00:37:02,600
anything, any extraneous
chemicals that they don't

643
00:37:02,600 --> 00:37:06,520
absolutely need.
They're on thyroid hormone and

644
00:37:06,520 --> 00:37:08,600
their thyroid is totally shot
and they need the hormone.

645
00:37:08,600 --> 00:37:10,880
OK, fine, keep them on the
thyroid hormone, but you know,

646
00:37:11,400 --> 00:37:13,720
try to take them off the
heartworm preventative and the,

647
00:37:13,880 --> 00:37:16,280
and probably the number one
thing is don't vaccinate

648
00:37:16,280 --> 00:37:18,080
anymore.
A vaccinating an animal with

649
00:37:18,080 --> 00:37:20,080
cancer can be like pouring gas
on a fire.

650
00:37:20,080 --> 00:37:23,320
And generally the vaccines last
way longer than what everyone

651
00:37:23,320 --> 00:37:25,400
tells her they last.
So they're absolutely fine.

652
00:37:25,400 --> 00:37:27,640
And if you're concerned about
it, run titers and see if they

653
00:37:27,640 --> 00:37:30,320
still have the antibodies, which
generally they do for the rest

654
00:37:30,320 --> 00:37:33,560
of their life.
So they don't need the vaccines.

655
00:37:33,560 --> 00:37:35,640
They could accelerate the growth
of the cancer.

656
00:37:35,800 --> 00:37:39,200
So you get them off of all those
types of extraneous chemicals.

657
00:37:39,640 --> 00:37:42,000
And then I'd really try and
build up their immune system

658
00:37:42,000 --> 00:37:46,920
with, you know, transfer factor
and medicinal mushrooms,

659
00:37:46,920 --> 00:37:50,520
Myitaki, Shiitaki, Turkey tail
mushrooms supporting the organ

660
00:37:50,520 --> 00:37:53,280
that the cancer is in.
So standard process makes a

661
00:37:53,680 --> 00:37:57,800
whole slew of supplements,
nutraceuticals that support each

662
00:37:57,840 --> 00:38:00,520
organ.
So if the, if it's in the liver,

663
00:38:00,520 --> 00:38:04,960
you put them on liver support.
If it's, if it's lymphoma or

664
00:38:04,960 --> 00:38:09,600
whatever you, you use, you do a,
a nutraceutical that supports

665
00:38:09,600 --> 00:38:11,840
the kidneys or the thyroid or
the whatever it is that the

666
00:38:12,040 --> 00:38:16,800
cancer is in.
And then you, well, there's,

667
00:38:16,800 --> 00:38:20,680
there's things like turmeric I
use with almost all my cancer

668
00:38:20,680 --> 00:38:22,840
cases now, turmeric, this is an
interesting thing.

669
00:38:23,040 --> 00:38:26,000
Turmeric is wonderful.
It's got anti cancer, anti

670
00:38:26,000 --> 00:38:28,760
aging, anti-inflammatory.
It's great, great stuff.

671
00:38:29,200 --> 00:38:33,120
It's only about 1% absorbable.
It's nature's great practical

672
00:38:33,120 --> 00:38:34,800
joke.
Here's this great herb that's

673
00:38:34,800 --> 00:38:36,560
healing.
It does all these things for you

674
00:38:36,560 --> 00:38:40,040
and you can't have any, and the
1% that gets into you is good,

675
00:38:40,040 --> 00:38:42,320
but it wouldn't be great to get
more, and they do.

676
00:38:42,320 --> 00:38:43,760
There are ways of getting more
in there.

677
00:38:43,760 --> 00:38:46,840
You can add black pepper and
coconut oil and that'll get the

678
00:38:46,840 --> 00:38:50,120
absorptability up to 3 or 4%,
which is better than one, but

679
00:38:50,120 --> 00:38:52,880
still really terrible.
I found these folks in Germany

680
00:38:52,880 --> 00:38:55,840
that figured out a way to
complex the curcumin from the

681
00:38:55,840 --> 00:38:59,480
turmeric with cyclodextrin,
which is a ring of sugar type

682
00:38:59,480 --> 00:39:02,320
molecules in a doughnut shape.
And they stick the curcumin in

683
00:39:02,320 --> 00:39:04,800
the doughnut hole and then the
body looks at it.

684
00:39:04,800 --> 00:39:08,440
In particular, cancer cells who
love sugar look at it and say,

685
00:39:08,440 --> 00:39:11,360
oh, sugar, I'll take that.
Pulls it in, pulls the curcumin

686
00:39:11,360 --> 00:39:15,640
right along with it, increases
the absorptability 40 fold.

687
00:39:16,120 --> 00:39:18,720
It just blows all of their
turmeric supplements out of the

688
00:39:18,720 --> 00:39:20,080
water.
Wow.

689
00:39:20,880 --> 00:39:23,760
So I always put almost all my
cancer cases on it.

690
00:39:23,760 --> 00:39:27,040
It's called cava cumin.
I used to have to import it from

691
00:39:27,040 --> 00:39:29,640
Germany.
I think there's someone in, I

692
00:39:29,640 --> 00:39:33,120
don't know, Minnesota or
Michigan or someplace with an M

693
00:39:33,240 --> 00:39:36,440
that imports it now that we
don't have to go out of the

694
00:39:36,440 --> 00:39:39,480
country, but it's still
difficult to find in this

695
00:39:39,480 --> 00:39:42,080
country.
But I, you know, I get, you

696
00:39:42,080 --> 00:39:44,760
know, 10 kilogram lots about
once a year.

697
00:39:44,760 --> 00:39:47,040
I go through a lot of it.
I take it myself, honestly.

698
00:39:47,040 --> 00:39:49,240
I take half a teaspoon and a
glass of water every night.

699
00:39:49,240 --> 00:39:52,000
Helps with aches and pains and
it's a great supplement to take.

700
00:39:52,000 --> 00:39:55,880
Oh, again, all my, almost all my
cancer cases, I'll put them on

701
00:39:55,880 --> 00:39:57,840
that.
And you know, and the mushrooms,

702
00:39:57,840 --> 00:40:01,800
the immune support, there's some
erybidic herbs like harataki or

703
00:40:01,880 --> 00:40:07,400
I can't remember the scientific
name, Terminalia turbula or

704
00:40:07,400 --> 00:40:10,560
something like that anyway, that
has good anti cancer properties.

705
00:40:10,560 --> 00:40:16,680
And then of course CBD and I
typically use the one from CBD

706
00:40:16,680 --> 00:40:21,120
Dog Health who you know Angela
produced or created that line of

707
00:40:21,120 --> 00:40:24,440
products which are excellent.
I know I have.

708
00:40:24,440 --> 00:40:28,240
I've actually started referring
to it as full spectrum hemp

709
00:40:28,240 --> 00:40:33,320
extract just to just not because
it's easier to say it is not,

710
00:40:33,640 --> 00:40:38,040
but because so many people here
CBD and then they just go buy

711
00:40:38,040 --> 00:40:42,120
the cheapest CBD they can find.
And I'm like, no, that's not

712
00:40:42,120 --> 00:40:44,160
what I want.
I want you to get a full

713
00:40:44,160 --> 00:40:48,560
spectrum hemp extract.
Right at the proper dosing too,

714
00:40:48,560 --> 00:40:50,480
at the proper, you know,
concentration.

715
00:40:50,480 --> 00:40:56,720
So yeah, I mean, first of all,
OK, it's a whole new unregulated

716
00:40:56,720 --> 00:41:01,400
industry.
And there was a paper that was

717
00:41:01,400 --> 00:41:05,440
published that where they went
out and they bought 100

718
00:41:05,440 --> 00:41:09,280
different brands or I don't know
how many of CBD products and had

719
00:41:09,280 --> 00:41:13,080
them third party tested and some
ridiculously high number.

720
00:41:13,080 --> 00:41:14,720
I can't remember what it was,
I'm going to say 20.

721
00:41:14,800 --> 00:41:17,720
It was, it may have even been
more, but it was, it was a lot

722
00:41:17,760 --> 00:41:18,880
of the brands that are out
there.

723
00:41:18,880 --> 00:41:21,760
What was on the label wasn't
necessarily reflective of what

724
00:41:21,760 --> 00:41:25,960
was in the bottle.
So just because it says cannabis

725
00:41:25,960 --> 00:41:29,200
or CBD or whatever, you, you
want to make sure it's third

726
00:41:29,200 --> 00:41:32,920
party tested and make sure that
what they're claiming it is, is

727
00:41:32,920 --> 00:41:35,240
actually there.
And you're right, full spectrum.

728
00:41:35,240 --> 00:41:37,880
I mean, there's a lot of, you
know, just not what do you call

729
00:41:37,880 --> 00:41:42,320
it, not when it's not full
spectrum, broad spectrum, OK,

730
00:41:42,320 --> 00:41:44,120
broad spectrum is better than
just CBD.

731
00:41:44,120 --> 00:41:46,360
But no, you want full, full
spectrum.

732
00:41:46,360 --> 00:41:49,960
You want all of the stuff that
that nature provided and you

733
00:41:49,960 --> 00:41:52,360
want it to be organic and you
want it to be, you know,

734
00:41:52,520 --> 00:41:57,480
etcetera.
And CBD, cannabis extract,

735
00:41:57,480 --> 00:42:07,960
whatever you want to call it at
what is it like 2 point, 2 TH 5

736
00:42:07,960 --> 00:42:12,680
milligrams per kilogram is kind
of like your typical dosing for

737
00:42:13,040 --> 00:42:17,160
pain and anxiety and you know,
things like that.

738
00:42:17,160 --> 00:42:20,720
But if you're talking about
seizures or cancer, you want

739
00:42:20,720 --> 00:42:23,960
more like 2 1/2 to 5 milligrams
per kilogram.

740
00:42:24,240 --> 00:42:27,360
It's almost like, you know, 5 to
10 times the dosing that you

741
00:42:27,360 --> 00:42:31,240
would use for other things.
And so people going out and

742
00:42:31,240 --> 00:42:35,320
buying a CBD product, it may be
way too dilute for what you're

743
00:42:35,320 --> 00:42:37,280
treating.
It may not be full spectrum.

744
00:42:37,280 --> 00:42:39,840
It may not even be CBD for that
matter.

745
00:42:40,080 --> 00:42:43,040
And then you also you utilize
homeopathy on top of that.

746
00:42:44,120 --> 00:42:48,400
I do, I do.
And if I can can work out a

747
00:42:48,400 --> 00:42:52,640
constitutional remedy or a an
obvious trigger.

748
00:42:52,640 --> 00:42:57,080
It all came it all they all
started downhill or, or the

749
00:42:57,080 --> 00:43:00,160
tumor came up right after they
received three different

750
00:43:00,160 --> 00:43:02,960
vaccines in one day and they had
the strong reaction and then

751
00:43:02,960 --> 00:43:05,800
right at the vaccine site, the
you know, this, this tumor

752
00:43:05,800 --> 00:43:06,960
develops.
So, you know, something like

753
00:43:06,960 --> 00:43:10,640
really obvious that OK, well
then we definitely would start

754
00:43:10,640 --> 00:43:15,600
with a, you know, vaccinosis
remedy, Thuia or sulfur or, or

755
00:43:15,600 --> 00:43:18,000
Silicea, you know, would be the
top three.

756
00:43:18,000 --> 00:43:20,560
There's, there's others that
could be appropriate, but

757
00:43:20,760 --> 00:43:23,560
typically it's one of those more
often than not Thuya.

758
00:43:24,040 --> 00:43:26,600
So, you know, we'll often start
with something like that.

759
00:43:26,960 --> 00:43:30,480
And then if there's, if it's
clear what the next layer is,

760
00:43:30,480 --> 00:43:32,040
we'll we'll certainly stick with
it.

761
00:43:32,120 --> 00:43:35,560
A lot of times it's it's not
clear cancer, it's a complex

762
00:43:35,560 --> 00:43:38,560
disease with, you know,
different miasms, interplaying

763
00:43:38,560 --> 00:43:41,240
and and stuff.
And it, and it can be tricky to

764
00:43:41,240 --> 00:43:43,960
ferret that all out.
So one thing that I've often

765
00:43:43,960 --> 00:43:48,440
done, and this, this is not
exactly classical homeopathy,

766
00:43:48,440 --> 00:43:51,080
but there's a, a doctor from
India, doctor Rama Krishnan,

767
00:43:51,200 --> 00:43:55,040
whose methods that I have
adopted for those cases where

768
00:43:55,680 --> 00:43:59,680
the constitutional remedies is
not clear, he'll do a, an

769
00:43:59,680 --> 00:44:04,280
alternating remedy.
One week they're on an organ

770
00:44:04,280 --> 00:44:09,200
specific remedy, next week
they're on a cancer nosode and

771
00:44:09,200 --> 00:44:12,440
it basically stimulates the body
to be aware of this organ, be

772
00:44:12,440 --> 00:44:15,120
aware of cancer, be aware of
this organ, eventually be aware

773
00:44:15,120 --> 00:44:20,840
of cancer in this organ.
And then so for example, let's

774
00:44:20,840 --> 00:44:24,040
say bone cancer.
The kind of the the classic one

775
00:44:24,080 --> 00:44:26,520
organ specific remedy is a
remedy called Hekla lava.

776
00:44:27,240 --> 00:44:31,760
It's actually a remedy made from
lava from Mount Hekla volcano

777
00:44:31,760 --> 00:44:36,800
somewhere and they somehow that
happens to resonate with the

778
00:44:36,800 --> 00:44:38,560
bones.
And then we'll alternate that

779
00:44:38,560 --> 00:44:43,360
usually with Carcinosin.
So the cancer nosode made made a

780
00:44:43,440 --> 00:44:45,600
remedy made from a cancerous
tumor.

781
00:44:49,080 --> 00:44:52,200
So I'll, I'll alternate those
two, you know, in one week

782
00:44:52,200 --> 00:44:53,480
they're on one, one week on the
other.

783
00:44:53,600 --> 00:44:58,560
He also does a plussing method
which I will sometimes adopt,

784
00:44:58,560 --> 00:45:02,200
and the way we adapt it for
animals we'll have is put a dose

785
00:45:02,200 --> 00:45:05,760
of the remedy in a dropper
bottle and dissolve it in 11

786
00:45:05,760 --> 00:45:10,120
squirts of water.
And then you give a squirt.

787
00:45:10,840 --> 00:45:13,920
You set the timer for 10 or 15
minutes, you succus the bottle a

788
00:45:13,920 --> 00:45:17,840
couple of times and give another
squirt, 10 or 15 minutes later,

789
00:45:18,320 --> 00:45:21,280
succus and squirt 10 or 15
minutes later, succus, squirt.

790
00:45:21,280 --> 00:45:23,680
You do that 10 times, you'll
have one squirt left in the

791
00:45:23,680 --> 00:45:26,880
bottle.
The next day you dilute what

792
00:45:26,880 --> 00:45:29,880
would that one squirt with 10
squirts of fresh water.

793
00:45:30,480 --> 00:45:33,760
So you're diluting it one to 10
and secussing with each dose.

794
00:45:33,960 --> 00:45:36,520
And the next day you dilute that
one squirt that's left in the

795
00:45:36,520 --> 00:45:39,400
bottle again with 10 squirts of
fresh water.

796
00:45:39,400 --> 00:45:42,440
So you're it's a one to 10
dilution every day with a lot of

797
00:45:42,440 --> 00:45:44,840
secussion in between, which is
of course how homeopathic

798
00:45:44,840 --> 00:45:47,040
remedies are made, alternating
dilution and secussion.

799
00:45:47,040 --> 00:45:50,480
So you're constantly ramping up
the potency of the remedy.

800
00:45:50,680 --> 00:45:55,480
If you give the same potency of
a remedy to a patient over and

801
00:45:55,480 --> 00:45:58,360
over again, the body gets used
to it very quickly and it has

802
00:45:58,360 --> 00:46:01,160
less and less of an effect.
So this is a way of keeping them

803
00:46:01,160 --> 00:46:03,840
under the influence of the
remedy longer for the whole

804
00:46:03,840 --> 00:46:06,000
week.
And then at the end of the week

805
00:46:06,000 --> 00:46:08,000
you go to the second remedy with
the second dropper bottle.

806
00:46:08,000 --> 00:46:10,080
You go through the whole thing
with a dilution and secussion.

807
00:46:10,320 --> 00:46:13,440
And then week 3, you go back to
the first dropper bottle with a

808
00:46:13,440 --> 00:46:16,280
fresh dose of remedy and start
over.

809
00:46:16,560 --> 00:46:19,120
And we just, you know, do that
all back and forth and we'll

810
00:46:19,120 --> 00:46:22,800
sometimes see that they get
better this week and little, you

811
00:46:22,800 --> 00:46:25,520
know, lower energy the next week
and better and lower.

812
00:46:25,680 --> 00:46:28,720
And if we're seeing that
pattern, OK, the the remedy that

813
00:46:28,920 --> 00:46:31,800
that were they are not doing so
well, we need to change that

814
00:46:31,800 --> 00:46:33,480
one.
So it takes, you know, a lot of

815
00:46:33,480 --> 00:46:37,000
observation of is there a
consistent pattern to are they

816
00:46:37,000 --> 00:46:38,320
are they just getting better and
better?

817
00:46:38,320 --> 00:46:39,640
Great.
That's what we'd love to see.

818
00:46:39,640 --> 00:46:42,920
But if it's they're getting
worse with one remedy, then we

819
00:46:42,920 --> 00:46:46,200
got to change remedies.
So I, I want to talk to you

820
00:46:46,200 --> 00:46:50,040
about the future of veterinary
medicine, but before we do that,

821
00:46:50,040 --> 00:46:55,520
I just want to, this may be
totally dense of me, but as you

822
00:46:55,520 --> 00:46:58,400
were talking, I just realized
something that I don't know if I

823
00:46:58,400 --> 00:47:00,560
realized this before.
And so I wanted to say it in

824
00:47:00,560 --> 00:47:04,280
case anybody listening is like
still having a hard time

825
00:47:04,280 --> 00:47:07,720
understanding homeopathy because
I think this just made sense to

826
00:47:07,720 --> 00:47:10,320
me.
One of the things that I've

827
00:47:10,320 --> 00:47:15,280
learned and that I tried to pass
on to other people is that, you

828
00:47:15,280 --> 00:47:20,640
know, we live in a very toxic
world and we are constantly

829
00:47:20,640 --> 00:47:24,000
bombarding the body with bad
food, especially, you know, if,

830
00:47:24,160 --> 00:47:27,760
if all the animals eating is
older, processed diet, bad food

831
00:47:27,760 --> 00:47:31,800
and chemicals and fragrances in
the air and, you know, there's

832
00:47:31,800 --> 00:47:34,720
smog outside and pesticides on
the lawn.

833
00:47:34,720 --> 00:47:39,520
And so one of the things I
talked about is how overwhelmed

834
00:47:39,520 --> 00:47:42,120
the immune system is and it
doesn't know where to focus

835
00:47:42,120 --> 00:47:44,320
because there's just too many
things going on.

836
00:47:44,320 --> 00:47:47,960
And so it might focus on one
thing and it's not exactly what

837
00:47:47,960 --> 00:47:52,160
you want it to be focusing on.
And one of the things you said

838
00:47:52,680 --> 00:47:56,960
through the course of this is
that this energetic medicine,

839
00:47:56,960 --> 00:48:02,040
homeopathic remedy is kind of
going into the body saying this

840
00:48:02,040 --> 00:48:03,720
is where you need to be
focusing.

841
00:48:05,040 --> 00:48:06,640
Yes.
Does does?

842
00:48:07,000 --> 00:48:09,080
Is it my thought process?
I don't know if that's this is

843
00:48:09,080 --> 00:48:12,320
just my thought process of like
trying to understand how this

844
00:48:12,320 --> 00:48:15,720
works.
Yeah, I mean, that's not true of

845
00:48:15,720 --> 00:48:17,880
all homeopathic remedies.
OK, OK.

846
00:48:18,000 --> 00:48:20,320
Some treat the whole body, but
there are some that have an

847
00:48:20,320 --> 00:48:24,160
affinity for the nervous system
or an affinity for the GI

848
00:48:24,160 --> 00:48:25,680
system.
And those are the remedies that

849
00:48:25,680 --> 00:48:28,360
I tend to use with the cancer
treatments.

850
00:48:28,960 --> 00:48:30,960
Gotcha.
At least using the Rama

851
00:48:30,960 --> 00:48:34,760
Christian method when I'm using
more classical homeopathy, you

852
00:48:34,760 --> 00:48:37,120
don't necessarily look at that
as as.

853
00:48:39,040 --> 00:48:41,480
It's a it's.
So the more classical is like

854
00:48:41,480 --> 00:48:44,840
the like treats like kind.
Of like treats like, and, and

855
00:48:44,840 --> 00:48:47,880
it's still like treats like
we're still choosing a remedy.

856
00:48:47,880 --> 00:48:51,560
I mean, there there's usually
several remedies for, you know,

857
00:48:52,800 --> 00:48:55,000
cancer in this organ or cancer
in that organ.

858
00:48:55,000 --> 00:48:57,080
There's several that that could
come up.

859
00:48:59,240 --> 00:49:05,520
And so you look at the symptom
picture of those three or four

860
00:49:05,520 --> 00:49:09,480
or five different top remedies
and you choose one that has the

861
00:49:09,480 --> 00:49:13,200
similar type of discharge, the
similar type of pain sensation,

862
00:49:13,200 --> 00:49:15,440
you know, whatever it is.
So it's, you know, it's not,

863
00:49:16,160 --> 00:49:18,440
it's not throwing classical
homeopathy completely out the

864
00:49:18,440 --> 00:49:20,600
window.
It's just a shortcut that is

865
00:49:20,600 --> 00:49:24,600
often useful, especially for
such a difficult disease to

866
00:49:24,600 --> 00:49:26,960
treat.
But I'm not saying it's the only

867
00:49:26,960 --> 00:49:29,160
way to do it.
And certainly, you know, the

868
00:49:29,160 --> 00:49:33,080
ideal is to, you know, do the
more classical prescribing and

869
00:49:33,080 --> 00:49:35,200
hit each the nail on the head,
correct each time.

870
00:49:35,960 --> 00:49:37,400
It's not always possible to do
that.

871
00:49:38,200 --> 00:49:40,760
Gotcha.
So one of the other things you

872
00:49:40,760 --> 00:49:45,120
said is to stop vaccinating.
And if you really need to

873
00:49:45,120 --> 00:49:48,200
somebody is, you know, got a
hair up their butt, then go

874
00:49:48,200 --> 00:49:49,880
ahead and tie your test.
Right.

875
00:49:50,600 --> 00:49:54,680
Now I, I was not expecting to
share the story, but since you

876
00:49:54,680 --> 00:49:58,000
said that it came to mind.
I recently moved and I took my

877
00:49:58,000 --> 00:50:02,880
dog to a new veterinarian.
And I believe me when I tell

878
00:50:02,880 --> 00:50:05,440
you, like I called so many
places.

879
00:50:05,440 --> 00:50:08,040
I did this when I moved the last
time to, I called so many

880
00:50:08,040 --> 00:50:12,440
veterinary offices and just to
get like a feel of who they are,

881
00:50:12,480 --> 00:50:15,760
what they're because.
Because for me, a lot of times

882
00:50:15,760 --> 00:50:20,560
the best case scenario is find a
veterinarian who was open minded

883
00:50:20,560 --> 00:50:23,320
enough to have conversations and
agree to disagree.

884
00:50:23,320 --> 00:50:27,680
And so I thought based on the
conversation I had with this

885
00:50:27,800 --> 00:50:30,720
person at the front desk, that
this was the kind of clinic I

886
00:50:30,720 --> 00:50:35,040
was going into, totally not the
kind of clinic I was going into.

887
00:50:35,040 --> 00:50:39,400
I spent the whole time with this
veterinarian who got very

888
00:50:39,400 --> 00:50:42,400
flustered by the way, I think
because she didn't know how to

889
00:50:42,400 --> 00:50:44,400
handle.
I was just calm about everything

890
00:50:44,400 --> 00:50:47,440
and said OK, thank you, I
understand instead of like

891
00:50:47,440 --> 00:50:51,440
arguing or crying or whatever.
And she when we got because I

892
00:50:51,440 --> 00:50:55,920
had submitted my dog's titer
test to them before I even got

893
00:50:55,920 --> 00:50:57,760
there.
One of the things she said was

894
00:50:57,760 --> 00:51:01,960
that she didn't believe and
there was not science proving

895
00:51:02,000 --> 00:51:05,000
that titer test tell us
anything.

896
00:51:05,320 --> 00:51:10,200
And I'm like, OK, I mean, that
was just one of like, I don't

897
00:51:10,200 --> 00:51:13,440
know, 15 things that I was like,
I'm not coming back here.

898
00:51:13,440 --> 00:51:20,440
Especially when my raw fed dog
had a high bun with a good SDMA

899
00:51:21,240 --> 00:51:25,480
and she did not even ask me to
do a urinalysis and decided that

900
00:51:25,480 --> 00:51:27,280
she had kidney disease.
But anyway, yeah.

901
00:51:28,400 --> 00:51:30,960
Thank you for bringing that up.
For people who are listening,

902
00:51:32,120 --> 00:51:37,440
the BUN or bun is it's naturally
higher on dogs on a high protein

903
00:51:37,440 --> 00:51:39,120
raw food diet.
It does not mean that their

904
00:51:39,120 --> 00:51:41,720
kidneys are failing.
That's as a normal test result

905
00:51:42,080 --> 00:51:45,640
for that diet.
The SDMA is normal.

906
00:51:45,680 --> 00:51:49,600
You do not have kidney failure.
But I just yes, thank you for

907
00:51:49,840 --> 00:51:53,200
for bringing that is another big
sticking point that yeah, yeah.

908
00:51:55,520 --> 00:51:58,320
Yeah, I mean, didn't even ask to
do a urinalysis.

909
00:51:58,360 --> 00:52:04,320
I was like, OK lady.
So anyway, that brings me to the

910
00:52:04,320 --> 00:52:07,800
future of veterinary medicine
because I think like I was

911
00:52:07,800 --> 00:52:13,400
saying, a lot of times the best
case scenario is as open minded

912
00:52:13,400 --> 00:52:15,160
as possible.
Agree to disagree.

913
00:52:15,280 --> 00:52:19,160
Use an allopathic veterinarian
for your labs for Wellness

914
00:52:19,160 --> 00:52:23,400
checks.
And then I don't know what like

915
00:52:23,640 --> 00:52:28,720
find a holistic or integrated
vet who does telemedicine,

916
00:52:29,240 --> 00:52:33,320
utilize holistic pet health
coaches, you know, nutritionist,

917
00:52:33,440 --> 00:52:35,800
all the things that are out
there and available to you.

918
00:52:36,320 --> 00:52:42,440
But one of the things that I had
talked to you about previously

919
00:52:42,440 --> 00:52:48,640
was the idea of a lot, a lot of
the holistic veterinarians that

920
00:52:49,080 --> 00:52:52,800
especially that attend like the
AHVMA conferences are at that

921
00:52:52,800 --> 00:52:59,440
age where they are looking at, I
want to retire soon And there

922
00:52:59,440 --> 00:53:04,440
aren't as many younger
veterinarians coming in that are

923
00:53:04,440 --> 00:53:07,640
like expressing a lot of
interest in learning.

924
00:53:07,760 --> 00:53:10,640
But you guys have so much
knowledge that really needs to

925
00:53:10,640 --> 00:53:13,760
get passed on.
So there is a crisis in

926
00:53:13,760 --> 00:53:17,400
veterinary medicine.
And I think if we could get your

927
00:53:17,400 --> 00:53:21,880
knowledge and others like you
out there, then maybe we

928
00:53:21,880 --> 00:53:24,120
wouldn't.
We have such the crisis we have.

929
00:53:24,120 --> 00:53:25,920
But I don't know what are your
thoughts around this.

930
00:53:26,000 --> 00:53:31,040
Well, but it's complex.
I mean, part of it is the

931
00:53:31,040 --> 00:53:34,480
corporate takeover of veterinary
medicine, holistic medicine, you

932
00:53:34,480 --> 00:53:37,280
know, is not as profitable, at
least on paper.

933
00:53:37,320 --> 00:53:39,560
Let's just go going back to the
vaccine thing.

934
00:53:40,120 --> 00:53:42,880
The markup on vaccines is, is
ridiculous.

935
00:53:42,880 --> 00:53:49,560
It's like, you know, 10 times
what the vaccine costs, whereas

936
00:53:49,560 --> 00:53:53,000
A tighter test, the cost of the
lab work you're you're maybe

937
00:53:53,000 --> 00:53:56,800
doubling it or whatever.
So you're the costs like I make

938
00:53:57,520 --> 00:54:00,720
about the same amount of money
per jab, whether I'm jabbing

939
00:54:00,720 --> 00:54:03,000
something in or pulling blood
out.

940
00:54:03,440 --> 00:54:07,760
I'm making about the same amount
of money because the tighter

941
00:54:07,760 --> 00:54:12,120
test is a little more expensive
than the vaccine, although we're

942
00:54:12,120 --> 00:54:14,240
only running the tighter test
every three years.

943
00:54:14,240 --> 00:54:16,200
So it actually in the long run
saves you money.

944
00:54:16,280 --> 00:54:20,560
But for the amount of time that
I spend, I'm making the same

945
00:54:20,560 --> 00:54:25,080
amount of money.
But on paper, my costs of

946
00:54:25,160 --> 00:54:30,000
business costs are just way
higher because laboratory costs

947
00:54:30,000 --> 00:54:32,560
are much more expensive than the
vaccine cost.

948
00:54:32,960 --> 00:54:38,000
And so when they do practice
analysis and run their their

949
00:54:38,120 --> 00:54:41,960
formulas and their numbers, my
practice doesn't look very

950
00:54:41,960 --> 00:54:46,920
profitable.
And even though I'm making, you

951
00:54:47,040 --> 00:54:50,880
know, the same amount per time,
but their formulas are just off

952
00:54:50,880 --> 00:54:54,720
for my kind of practice.
So corporate medicine doesn't

953
00:54:55,120 --> 00:54:59,400
care about the patient, they
care about the profit.

954
00:55:00,280 --> 00:55:03,760
Profit driven medicine is
destroying veterinary medicine.

955
00:55:03,760 --> 00:55:06,960
You talk about veterinary
medicine being in a crisis, it's

956
00:55:06,960 --> 00:55:09,800
because so many of these
practices are being bought up

957
00:55:10,080 --> 00:55:14,400
and taken over by these big mega
corporations whose interest is

958
00:55:14,400 --> 00:55:18,360
in how can we maximize the
amount of money that we can

959
00:55:18,360 --> 00:55:22,720
extract out of each patient
visit has nothing to do with

960
00:55:22,720 --> 00:55:26,720
what's best for the patient.
Now you can make more money that

961
00:55:26,720 --> 00:55:30,800
way by pushing all those
vaccines, pushing that extra

962
00:55:30,800 --> 00:55:34,120
whatever, you know, wormer
medicine every month or the

963
00:55:34,120 --> 00:55:36,640
whatever, you know, pushing,
pushing all these things that

964
00:55:36,640 --> 00:55:41,640
they don't need and may actually
be harmful to do all the same

965
00:55:41,640 --> 00:55:45,800
time or in conjunction with
these other things, or maybe

966
00:55:45,800 --> 00:55:47,360
just harmful in and of
themselves.

967
00:55:48,600 --> 00:55:50,960
But they're not looking at that.
They're looking at how much

968
00:55:50,960 --> 00:55:53,640
profit can we make?
Now by making that extra profit,

969
00:55:53,640 --> 00:55:58,600
they're able to to take
something out of the new

970
00:55:58,600 --> 00:56:02,320
students and say, hey, we can
give you this kind of salary

971
00:56:03,520 --> 00:56:07,800
come to join our team.
And so it's harder for small

972
00:56:07,800 --> 00:56:11,920
practitioners, individual owned
practices to make ends meet.

973
00:56:11,920 --> 00:56:17,480
We got to we got to compete with
them for staffing costs, and

974
00:56:17,480 --> 00:56:22,360
it's great to be able to pay the
staff more, but where's that

975
00:56:22,360 --> 00:56:25,880
money coming from?
It's coming from the health of

976
00:56:25,880 --> 00:56:29,120
the animals.
Ultimately their health goes

977
00:56:29,120 --> 00:56:32,600
down so that the profits can go
up so that they can pay the

978
00:56:32,920 --> 00:56:35,120
staff that I then have to
compete with.

979
00:56:36,800 --> 00:56:42,280
And it's a lot harder for me to
stay in business that way that

980
00:56:42,360 --> 00:56:46,840
that's one of the things that's
destroying veterinary medicine.

981
00:56:49,320 --> 00:56:53,640
I did just hire a wonderful vet.
She's only been out for a few

982
00:56:53,640 --> 00:56:56,320
years.
She did a externship rotation

983
00:56:56,320 --> 00:56:57,800
through us when she was in
school.

984
00:56:57,800 --> 00:57:01,040
And she's come back to, to work
for me and I'm teaching her all

985
00:57:01,040 --> 00:57:03,320
these things.
There are people, there are some

986
00:57:03,440 --> 00:57:06,920
young people who are more
interested in or in, in, in

987
00:57:06,920 --> 00:57:10,600
practicing good medicine rather
than filling their wallets.

988
00:57:10,600 --> 00:57:13,000
And hopefully they'll be, you
know, more and more, you know,

989
00:57:14,080 --> 00:57:15,720
you know, who want to follow
that path.

990
00:57:15,760 --> 00:57:19,560
I'm doing what teaching I can.
And when she eventually,

991
00:57:19,560 --> 00:57:21,920
hopefully, maybe she'll take
over the practice and I can

992
00:57:21,960 --> 00:57:24,520
maybe put all the stuff that
I've learned over these decades

993
00:57:24,520 --> 00:57:26,200
into a book.
But yeah, there's been other

994
00:57:26,200 --> 00:57:29,960
people have written good books,
Marty Goldstein and blanking out

995
00:57:29,960 --> 00:57:33,920
of the some of the but there's a
lot of books out there that are

996
00:57:33,920 --> 00:57:34,920
good.
But who's reading them?

997
00:57:34,920 --> 00:57:36,520
Not the vets, generally
speaking.

998
00:57:36,520 --> 00:57:41,280
It's, it's the clients who like
you hopefully are going to drive

999
00:57:42,040 --> 00:57:45,360
business, you know, look for the
vets who have, you know, who are

1000
00:57:45,360 --> 00:57:47,680
open to these things.
The more you go to those types

1001
00:57:47,680 --> 00:57:50,880
of vets, the better their
business is.

1002
00:57:50,880 --> 00:57:53,320
The more they can stay in
business, the more they can pass

1003
00:57:53,320 --> 00:57:56,840
on this knowledge, the more they
can compete with the allopathic

1004
00:57:56,840 --> 00:58:02,640
medicine.
Go to theahvma.org.

1005
00:58:03,080 --> 00:58:06,600
I think its.org and they'll, and
they've got members now, just

1006
00:58:06,600 --> 00:58:10,240
because you're a member of the
AHVMA doesn't mean you're a good

1007
00:58:10,240 --> 00:58:13,000
vet.
But if you're looking for

1008
00:58:13,000 --> 00:58:17,040
someone who practices the kind
of medicine that I practice,

1009
00:58:17,200 --> 00:58:20,080
that's a great place to start.
There's other organizations as

1010
00:58:20,080 --> 00:58:25,560
well, like the a, a, the AVHTHE
avh.org, that's the Academy of

1011
00:58:25,560 --> 00:58:28,240
Veterinary Homeopathy.
Again, they have a, you know,

1012
00:58:28,240 --> 00:58:32,080
find a practitioner section and
they've got continuing education

1013
00:58:32,080 --> 00:58:34,560
and, and, you know, annual
conferences and all that.

1014
00:58:34,600 --> 00:58:37,960
I tend to like that group.
I mean, if you're looking for a

1015
00:58:38,440 --> 00:58:44,720
really good holistic vet, I
think it's my personal bias

1016
00:58:44,880 --> 00:58:48,880
because my original
certification was in homeopathy

1017
00:58:48,880 --> 00:58:51,600
and I think there it's generally
a really great group of

1018
00:58:51,600 --> 00:58:54,640
veterinarians, but that's a
great place to start if there's

1019
00:58:54,640 --> 00:58:56,040
no one in your area.
Sure.

1020
00:58:56,040 --> 00:59:00,160
The HVMA likely has someone and
you know, any of the Ibis, you

1021
00:59:00,160 --> 00:59:03,880
know, the Veterinary Acupuncture
Society, there's a lot of groups

1022
00:59:03,880 --> 00:59:06,160
out there that have their
websites that have their

1023
00:59:06,160 --> 00:59:09,640
referral system.
Those are great places to start.

1024
00:59:09,640 --> 00:59:12,800
And yes, we're still kind of few
and far between and hopefully

1025
00:59:12,800 --> 00:59:15,880
there's someone in your area.
But if not, yes, telemedicine is

1026
00:59:15,880 --> 00:59:18,440
still an option until they take
it away.

1027
00:59:19,400 --> 00:59:24,440
Right, so I lost my train of
thought.

1028
00:59:25,840 --> 00:59:30,200
I just appreciate you coming on
and bringing all of this

1029
00:59:30,680 --> 00:59:34,880
knowledge with you and being so
willing to share it with my

1030
00:59:34,880 --> 00:59:40,200
audience.
We are, we're small, but mighty,

1031
00:59:40,200 --> 00:59:43,160
right?
Like the the healthy pet space,

1032
00:59:43,280 --> 00:59:46,240
in my opinion.
Like we are growing, but we're

1033
00:59:46,240 --> 00:59:49,080
still small in comparison to the
big guys.

1034
00:59:49,080 --> 00:59:53,440
And so, you know, I just do my
best to bring on the the best

1035
00:59:53,440 --> 00:59:57,400
education that I possibly can.
And I appreciate that you were

1036
00:59:57,400 --> 00:59:59,760
willing to come on and and be
part of it.

1037
00:59:59,800 --> 01:00:02,680
Yeah, I hope.
I hope that everything goes well

1038
01:00:02,680 --> 01:00:06,360
with your new hire, that she
absorbs everything.

1039
01:00:06,480 --> 01:00:09,560
And goes and gets her
certifications like you did and

1040
01:00:10,240 --> 01:00:13,680
just continues that legacy
because I, I mean, we need it so

1041
01:00:13,680 --> 01:00:16,240
badly.
We are again, I go back to like

1042
01:00:16,760 --> 01:00:21,120
human medicine because it's,
it's this path that veterinary

1043
01:00:21,120 --> 01:00:24,120
medicine kind of follows.
Human medicine, though it might

1044
01:00:24,120 --> 01:00:28,120
be a lot quicker than it has
been with AI coming into things.

1045
01:00:28,120 --> 01:00:31,520
I don't know, You know, I, I saw
something the the other day

1046
01:00:33,000 --> 01:00:36,960
because in human medicine, women
are just so, I mean,

1047
01:00:38,480 --> 01:00:41,880
intentionally discriminated
against for so long and still

1048
01:00:42,080 --> 01:00:46,160
really a disservice is being
done to us every single day.

1049
01:00:46,160 --> 01:00:51,280
But it was like at 13 years old,
we put you on hormone therapy

1050
01:00:51,640 --> 01:00:54,840
and then you come in in your 20s
because you can't get pregnant.

1051
01:00:55,080 --> 01:00:57,960
And then it in your 40s, we put
you on a different kind of

1052
01:00:57,960 --> 01:01:00,800
hormone therapy.
And then somewhere in there you

1053
01:01:00,800 --> 01:01:03,920
may need some surgeries.
And you know, we're going to

1054
01:01:03,920 --> 01:01:05,240
offer you an ablation now,
right?

1055
01:01:05,280 --> 01:01:10,600
So like we have just, I feel
like this is the trajectory of

1056
01:01:10,600 --> 01:01:15,680
what we're doing to humans and
our pets alike is just, it seems

1057
01:01:16,200 --> 01:01:20,000
insidious to me.
And I think I don't know how

1058
01:01:20,000 --> 01:01:24,120
much intentionality there is,
but it seems very intentional to

1059
01:01:25,280 --> 01:01:28,560
sell you what's going to cause
you the problems later on and

1060
01:01:28,560 --> 01:01:30,920
then sell you the solutions for
those problems.

1061
01:01:30,920 --> 01:01:34,320
And I, I just, I feel like
that's the same thing happening

1062
01:01:34,320 --> 01:01:38,280
in veterinary medicine And so
many veterinarians don't see it.

1063
01:01:39,120 --> 01:01:42,520
And that's my biggest, like, I
think that's one of our biggest

1064
01:01:42,520 --> 01:01:43,840
hurdles.
It's like veterinarians have to

1065
01:01:43,840 --> 01:01:46,640
start seeing it like you did,
right?

1066
01:01:47,280 --> 01:01:50,400
Yeah, yeah, it's, I don't know
how intentional.

1067
01:01:50,400 --> 01:01:54,240
I, I think it's, you know, more,
more ignorance or being led by

1068
01:01:54,240 --> 01:01:58,200
the nose from it may be
intentional, say up the line

1069
01:01:58,640 --> 01:02:02,200
from the, in the pharmaceutical
companies, but they're giving

1070
01:02:02,200 --> 01:02:05,600
continuing education and stuff
to the vets who you know,

1071
01:02:05,600 --> 01:02:11,120
though, they'll tell the vets,
no, I, we don't know how long

1072
01:02:11,120 --> 01:02:14,480
the vaccine lasts.
We only, we know, as far as we

1073
01:02:14,480 --> 01:02:17,120
know, it only lasts a year.
So it's better to be safe than

1074
01:02:17,120 --> 01:02:20,320
sorry and just just keep pumping
those in year after year and the

1075
01:02:20,320 --> 01:02:22,760
vets just kind of buy it.
Oh, OK, I guess we'll just say,

1076
01:02:22,960 --> 01:02:25,320
well, they say it was safe.
OK, well, we'll just do that.

1077
01:02:25,320 --> 01:02:28,120
And, you know, I think they're,
they're following what they were

1078
01:02:28,120 --> 01:02:31,160
taught and they're following
what they think is right.

1079
01:02:31,320 --> 01:02:36,240
Maybe somebody higher up did it
all intentionally just to make

1080
01:02:36,240 --> 01:02:40,240
more money.
Who knows, But I think most vets

1081
01:02:40,240 --> 01:02:42,040
are.
They have good intentions, they

1082
01:02:42,040 --> 01:02:46,680
just haven't bothered to
question some things that they

1083
01:02:46,680 --> 01:02:48,680
were taught.
Yeah, it's funny.

1084
01:02:48,680 --> 01:02:51,240
I was literally this morning
having that conversation with

1085
01:02:51,240 --> 01:02:54,600
Doctor Ruth Roberts about how
many people don't have critical

1086
01:02:54,600 --> 01:02:57,320
thinking ability.
Tell me about it.

1087
01:02:57,680 --> 01:03:00,800
And like how hard it is to teach
those critical thinking

1088
01:03:00,840 --> 01:03:03,320
abilities.
But anyway, again, thank you so

1089
01:03:03,320 --> 01:03:08,080
much for being here for sharing
your with at least a tiny little

1090
01:03:08,080 --> 01:03:11,400
bit of your wisdom.
And I hope, I hope to be seeing

1091
01:03:11,400 --> 01:03:13,000
you around soon.
Is there anything else that

1092
01:03:13,040 --> 01:03:15,360
maybe we didn't touch on that
you're like, no, I wanted to say

1093
01:03:15,360 --> 01:03:16,840
this.
Oh, I think we're good.

1094
01:03:17,200 --> 01:03:18,840
It's been delightful being on
your show.

1095
01:03:18,880 --> 01:03:20,840
And yeah, I appreciate you
having me.

1096
01:03:20,960 --> 01:03:23,480
And maybe I'll be back sometime
with some other things to say.

1097
01:03:23,480 --> 01:03:25,600
I don't know.
I'd love that.

1098
01:03:25,760 --> 01:03:28,320
Awesome.
Thank you so much Doctor Bob and

1099
01:03:28,320 --> 01:03:30,440
you at home listening.
Thank you so much for being

1100
01:03:30,440 --> 01:03:32,120
here.

Veterinarian

Bob Ulbrich VMD, CVH, CVSMT

Dr. Bob Ulbrich earned his undergraduate degree at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, and his veterinary degree at The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. In 1994, he became a Certified Veterinary Homeopath through the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, and in 2005 he received Certification as a Veterinary Chiropractor through the The Healing Oasis Wellness Center. Dr. Ulbrich can address any health problem using a variety of modalities, and has enjoyed a great deal of success using homeopathy to treat cancer and even behavioral problems. He is also available to consult by telephone with pet guardians and their local veterinarians throughout the country, and internationally, when a more holistic approach is desired.

Dr. Bob lives in SW Portland with his wife and the one and only Tig (short for Tigressa), a brindle rescue from Mexico. He lists some of his most interesting past employment experiences as being the Curator of Animals at the Aqua Circus of Cape Cod and volunteering to treat oiled seabirds in Washington state after the sinking of the Tenyo Maru. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, hiking, camping, dancing, SCUBA diving, and river rafting.
