Registered Veterinary Technician

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician certified in Canine Nutrition through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute. I am currently the researcher and writer for Real Dog Box and the Feed Real Institute. I received my degree in veterinary technology at Purdue University. I worked in private practice for 2 years before becoming involved in the biomedical research field for 32 years. In 2017, I received the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine Distinguished Veterinary Technology Alumnus Award for my dedicated service to education, research, the care of animals, and the veterinary technology community.
I am the mother of 2 daughters and the beloved GaGa of a granddaughter and grandson. I grew up in Indiana but have recently moved to Tennessee. I love nature, scrapbooking, reading, and anything to do with animals, with giraffes being my favorite animal.
