Dr. Laurie McCauley, DVM, DACVSMR, CCRT, CVA, CVC is a trailblazer in veterinary rehabilitation with a passion for helping pets move better, feel better, and live longer. After graduating from Colorado State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, she opened the first veterinary rehab clinic in the U.S. and designed the very first underwater treadmill for dogs, because she saw what was possible before the profession even had a name for it.
She’s Board Certified in Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, certified in Acupuncture and Chiropractic care, and spent 14 years teaching at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Through national conferences, international lectures, and her signature online platform, Optimum Pet Vitality, Dr. Laurie has inspired thousands of professionals, and just as many pet parents, to rethink what’s possible when movement becomes medicine.
She’s also a published author, award-winning educator, and the creative force behind a new wave of integrative, mobility-focused care bringing hope, healing, and joyful motion back to dogs around the world.
